The paper itself is ok, I mean, it’s toilet paper, so…it’s soft and I like the fact it’s bamboo so environmentally friendly. It’s not as dense or as tightly wound as more expensive brands such as Cheeky Panda, but it’s adequate and cheaper than they are. I specifically chose this more budget brand, which was nevertheless more expensive than some of the others, because the rolls are wrapped in paper, not plastic, as I actively try to avoid excess plastic packaging….then Amazon shipped it in a plastic bag! Thus completely defeating the object of the exercise. *sigh*

I switched to this bamboo toilet tissue to try something softer and more sustainable, and it has been a pleasant surprise. It's now part of our Amazon subscription deliveries. The texture feels smoother than most recycled options but still has enough strength that it does not tear easily. It is genuinely softer than I expected from bamboo fibre and comfortable on sensitive skin. The rolls last well and the 160 sheet count feels generous compared with some mainstream brands. It also does not shed fluff everywhere, which is something I have run into with other eco alternatives. The paper packaging is a nice touch and makes the whole thing feel more responsible and less wasteful. The only small downside is that the rolls are slightly smaller in diameter than a couple of the big supermarket brands, but the quality makes up for it. It is still strong, absorbs well, and does not fall apart. Overall, this is a soft, reliable, and more sustainable option that feels like a good balance between comfort and eco credentials. I will be buying it again.

This is softer than Andrex quilts but even used double I can't be an aggressive wiper without a tear as it is absorbent. Made in Wales and bamboo is supposed to be more sustainable, so that helps. Have got this on subscribe and save which brings the price down. Quality seems good. I'm frugal but in a family household you will probably use a roll quicker than me if someone wants to use 3 or 4 sheets each wipe. Need a double sheet to blow my nose without getting a snotty hand.

SUMMARY: I purchased this paper because my usual brand was out of stock at the local shop. I've always been a fan of Regina, as they produce the best toilet paper in terms of quality and texture, although an expensive brand. GOODIES: The product arrived quickly in its original packaging, making it clear what we had purchased. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, it feels very soft yet is strong and thick, so only a small amount is needed. It lasts for months, even with three people using it. Everyone was pleased with it. The paper also has a cute pattern, so it’s not boringly plain. I even used it to clean up spills, and it absorbed them effectively. However, when I tried to repurchase, the price had increased by nearly £3 in just a few weeks, which was frustrating as I had planned to sign up for scheduled deliveries, but I won’t anymore. BADDIES: The significant price hike is ridiculous, jumping from around £9 to £12 a nearly 30% increase. Other than that, I have no complaints and will wait for the price to drop before buying again. Overall, this is amazing toilet paper, and I love it.
