Amazon Essentials Women's Lightweight Open-Front Cardigan Sweater (Available in Plus Size)

Picture doesn't do it justice, some things don't have hanger appeal but thus cardigan is perfect! I always read reviews to gain insight as to size, fit and quality so feel compelled to let others know and to praise this product and Amazon for making it their pick! I have sensory issues and hate itchy scratchy fabrics. This is beautifully smooth and comfortable, perfect style simple and minimal just how I like it without fussy details. Can wear a plain vest underneath in the autumn with some linen trousers, the perfect outfit. I bought three, now purchasing another two! Cannot emphasise enough how pleasantly surprised I am! Must mention the sizing which is spot on. I am a UK16 but prefer things to skim not touch my body. Size L was recommended which would've been perfect but I chose XL to br safe. Pleased with my choice as it gives room for layering.

Bought for work where I get very hot but I can't wear short sleeves by themselves, so I wanted a lightweight throw-on like one I already have from years back - a thin throw-on from H&M or something - but I wanted something similar in black as that'd work with more outfits. Unfortunately this is not 100% fit for that as it's a lot thicker and less flimsy than I expected! In a way this is a plus, and I have kept it for daily use and maybe work when it gets colder. Decent medium-weight fabric - not lightweight and thin (like I needed) but not super thick. Quite soft, comfy and ok quality feeling. Does not look or feel cheap. Sizing is true to size to roomy, certainly not on the small side . Versatile, casual style that is easy to throw over anything.It's not what I expected but I do like it, I might even buy again in another colour.

My daughter bought this and it was just what I wanted, I’ve never bought clothes from Amazon before. This is not too long, nice and soft and perfect under a winter coat without the bulk. I bought the soft grey which goes with most things. Very pleased and great price

Light weight good sized cardigan.Downside is the colour. It is more cream than white which is disappointing as I needed white. Needed for an imminent holiday.

The fabric is soft and light.The pale blue marled colour looks great with jeans and slightly more formal trousers,too.Good length,reaches just over my bottom.I’m 5’4 and usually a 8 in tops.Out of experience with a couple of jumpers of the same line,I went for a XS.As the sizing is rather generous and I like my clothes more fitted.There is nothing I dislike about the cardigan,it’s a great price for a lovely garment.

I love these soft loose fit boyfriend style cardigan. I am a 12/14 and the medium fits me really well, coming together edge to edge. If you want a cardi that wraps around then go for a large if you are 12/14. I am 5ft 4 and length comes down over my backside to mid thigh. Sleeves are a nice length, and sit comfortably just past the wrist. I ordered 4 of these in different colours and I’m so impressed I’ve kept them all. Really soft to touch and good quality. Definitely would recommend these to anyone. They are simple, plain and very versatile.

I have the jumpers in the same style so thought I’d try the cardigan. Yes it’s just as nice. It’s mid thigh on me and drapes well around my body. I’m a size 14 and it is loose on me which I wanted as I like the front edges of the cardigan falling over my chest without constantly pulling them closed.I love the cotton rich material and it’ll wash well and not crease. The side splits are a nice detail too. I’m considering the other colours but I’ll wait for a deal as I’m not in a rush.

El color gris claro es precioso, es un suéter igual al de la foto, no es un suéter grueso pero tampoco totalmente traslúcido, más bien es un suéter como para un viento suave y/o cubrirte del sol si vas a estar en el exterior. Yo soy G pero por algunas referencias pedí M y me quedo bastante bien, yo creo que la G me hubiera quedado más holgado de lo que buscaba.

You sit on the tarmac for the obligatory 45 minutes and the flight attendants are about to pass out in their polyester uniforms, so as soon as your flight is clear to take off the air handler comes on and suddenly you could store popsicles in economy class? This is the garment you want on hand.This sweater is a thin weave but just enough to throw on and keep you from turning blue when your neighbor turns all the air jets on his sweaty self. The weave is tight enough it doesn't self destruct when it sees a spiral notebook or a stucco wall. This is by no means a solo winter sweater, but it would be great for a chilly business casual office as wellIt's well sewn and drapes gracefully should you wish to conceal something like a passport wallet on a string or a well-trained chihuahua. It comes down a bit past your hips and gives the vague impression of a blazer. I think the weave is dense enough to pin a brooch or an ID tag onto without destroying it.Best of all, I am an elderly, short, very plus size lady. The sleeves are a bit long on me (normal size for someone over 5'1"). They slide up just fine so your hands are free. And it's a true plus size - I would say the 6X would work for everyone from a baggy 3X to a 7X if you like a tighter fit. That leads me to believe the sizing might be true for smaller size persons as well. That's rare these days.This thing makes an awesome blanket if you're stuck on a cold train or bus, then it rolls up smaller than a pair of plus size jeans.I'm off to buy another one while they're on sale. If you're a traveler who gets cold, or just want something a bit more stylish than a sweatshirt to keep you warm, get one of these.
