Perfect 1st birthday gift
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this toy for my daughter’s first birthday. She loves removing and holding the colorful shapes. The spinning wheel always gets her attention too. 5 stars!

Good BASIC toy, but missing parts are common.
The media could not be loaded. Build qualityThe spinner is reasonably well made but. It is durable and good quality and appropriate for kids with soft edges, no pinch points and large safe materials.Missing Parts.I ordered this twice and twice, some of the small plastic pieces were missing, I was able to get a replacement but it is something you definitely want to check when you receive.Simple PlayYou can spin the toy for fun, or press the button to spin the colors. You can use each of the colored plastic pieces to identify shapes, colors or animals. Its a great starter game that is fun to play especially when first learning colors.Final thoughts:This is a good toy that I recommend. It is safe and provide lots of entertainment and learning opportunities.

Seemed more interesting on paper
Was given to my youngest. After opening it up, this really looked a lot more interesting on paper. It wobbles on hardwood or tile floors - not spectacularly on thicker carpet. That's neat and the youngest does like to bat at it. The coloured pieces, however, are easily removed from the rest of the toy completely (more so than I was expecting). Other than the wobbling part, it didn't really catch the attention of the little one. With so many other baby toys out there, it's tough to justify something this large that's so mediocre.

Unique wobbly puzzle color-matching toy
This is a unique toy for color matching and puzzle play for toddlers. You spin the center with the button and then put in the color puzzle pieces in the corresponding spots, spin the middle again to try again with spots for each color. Unfortunately, for my one year old grandson he isn’t quite to the stage of color matching yet and it didn’t hold his interest. I think it would be best suited for the 2-3yr age range. The biggest problem is there’s no storage spot for the puzzle pieces and given their size they are easy to lose. With all the toddler toys around it’s hard to keep the set together. The colors, textures, and materials of the toy are a big plus. Although we’re storing this one away for now, I’m excited when our grandson reaches the stage to play with it!Overall, satisfied with the "Playskool Little Wonders - Spin-A-Swirl - Infant Toddler Learning Puzzle Play Toy with Color Matching and Animals - for Toddlers Ages 12 Months and Up" I'd just suggest the 12+ is a little optimistic.

The baby likes it!
This is a cute little baby toy that keeps the baby entertained for about 20 minutes which is an entenity in baby time. I really like it and think it’s so colorful and cute. It appears to be very durable and will last too!

Fun toy that could be hit or miss
Of the little ones we have around our house at times, this toy is a hit with some and not others. It has movement and brilliant colors and somewhat loud noises. But it isn't annoying like some toys and the ones who love it, REALLY love it. Overall, I think it is a good toy to get for the little ones.

Great for toddlers
Really fun for toddlers learning colors. The textured pieces are great for younger babies as well.

Lacking
I get that the idea of this line of toys from Playskool is to be simple, but, I feel that this toy is a bit "too" simple and not exciting enough to hold the attention of a toddler. When you press the middle button, the toy spins (but makes a loud cranking sound). You can't get it to spin on carpet, so keep in mind it needs to be on a hard floor or table. The color paddles are removable, so that when it lands on a color pattern you can match them, but in reality the paddles just end up all over the house.
