Pistol perfect is a very appropriate title for this nearly perfect contemporary romance
The situation: Wealthy big city boy meets hard working country veterinarian girl. Reminiscent of another romance, Pride and Prejudice, Where influential and successful big businessman James Long has carried a torch for Mabel Lefrak since he was a youth. Mabel doesn’t at first feel the same way but the discovery of a vintage pink-handled revolver in the house of a kindly neighbor she has moved in with to help out begins to work its magic. But there is James also living in the home who has always had tender feelings for Mabel. She desperately wants to give three sweet young sisters a decent home as she cared for them awhile back. However, in order to legally pull it off, she must find a husband to give the girls a father figure. After knowing James for just a few days, she impulsively proposes marriage. Expecting a refusal, James is thrilled because that is just what he wants! There is an accident with the pink pistol and the banter between the two in the aftermath of that is full of sweet humor and playful sarcasm. The local preacher insists on marital counseling and some of the loveliest and true Biblical reasons for a Godly marriage are revealed for us to ponder. The story, for this reader, mirrors the title: “Pistol Perfect,” because that is what it was to me. What a warm-hearted wrap-up for the 11th and final Pink Pistol romance. My apologies to all of the fine authors in this matchless series but this one resonated with my sentiments more than all of the others. A virtual standing ovation!

Pistol Perfect
This book started out making me laugh with Mabel, a veterinarian in Sweet Water, ND, trying to walk across a manure covered pasture without getting dirty. She was trying to retrieve a box from a shed for Aunt Carol that supposedly had AnnieOakley's gun in it. She made it to the shed and retrieved the box. On her return, Billy, the matchmaking steer, was in her way so she had to go around him. That was a mistake because the muck there was deeper. When her boots got stuck, she bent over to retrieve one her foot came out of and Billy bumped her causing her to land in the muck on her side including her face without dropping the box. That is when James appeared. Like most of Jesse's books, there is usually one part of her book that makes the reader laugh. That is one reason I love her books. The characters and love stories are always unique and the HEA endings make them perfect. The pink pistol in the box brings Mabel and James together. I highly recommend this book for clean Christian romance. I received an ARC and this is my voluntary and honest review.

James and Mabel
Another delightful clean story by Jessie Gussman, set in Sweet Water, North Dakota. James is a successful businessman visiting his Aunt Carol, and Mabel is the local veterinarian who just happens to be Carol's housemate. James and Mabel have known one another for years and James has carried a torch for Mabel for all of those years, unbeknownst to her. Mabel learns of an opportunity to adopt three little girls she fostered the year before, IF she can find a husband to be their dad. Annie Oakley's pink pistol, and Billy the Highland steer work their magic and the matchmaking is on. As in all of Jessie's books, there are simple yet profound life lessons learned by the characters -- and sometimes by the reader too. A sweet story and a fun revisit to Sweet Water.

Great Finally loved it.
Jessie Gussman did a wonderful job bringing the last book full circle to the series of the Pink Pistol Sisterhood. Pistol perfect had a lot of humor, and proved you can accidentally shoot someone and find love . Mabel and James story was so sweet , you have all kinds of special animals like a matchmaking cow. Mabel is a vet so she has all sorts of hilarious run Ins with crazy animals. James has loved Mabel for years but never dreamed god would have a plan that would bring Mabel into his life.I’ve really enjoyed this series, especially learning of the great Annie Oakley and the Pink Pistol that brings love to whoever grips its handle.

Deep truths and sidespitting laughter
Picture someone walking on a board above a pool of manure and losing to gravity, no kidding it's one of the opening scenes. Some of what makes this author so very successful in my humble opinion is that you know she is speaking from experience, they may not be hers, but, you can see these things happen in real life. Also, when the pastor speaks of different areas that a husband or wife will need to work thru as a follower of Christ it resonates in your soul.I am thankful that Jesse's books are in Kindle Unlimited because I would not be able to buy aall of them.

Each book was different than the last, but so good! I have read two different series by different authors and it is amazing how they can just keep the ideas rolling! I will definitely keep watching for another series like these, I appreciate that our God is the center for each and every story 🙏 You are all blessed and we readers appreciate each and every one of you!

Pistol Perfect: Sweet Western Romance (Pink Pistol Sisterhood Series Book 11)
I thoroughly enjoyed this last book in this series, and will gladly recommend this and each of the books by the other authors. Mable and James were great characters to follow and the storyline was uplifting and sweet. Add the 3 young children needing a home, it kept me engaged until the end. I especially enjoyed the way Author Jessie Gussman tied everything up at the very end of the series with each of the recipients of the Pink Pistol, gifted by Annie Oakley. JudyE

Refreshing and inspiring!
What a refreshing addition to the Pink Pistol Sisterhood series! With Annie Oakley's pink matchmaking pistol, Billy the matchmaking Highland steer, and a matchmaking aunt all working together, James and Mabel don't stand a chance in Pistol Perfect by Jessie Gussman! She has written a delightful tale of a man of character who knows what he wants, a woman of faith who feels unworthy, and the surprising, entertaining circumstances that bring them together! James and Mabel encourage and inspire with their firm reliance on the Lord as they build their relationship and their family.
