Great product
Works great with wood and pellets. If using pellets do not use starter in the tray use fire starter in the pellets and use the fan . Works great and would definitely recommend this product

Not a primary burner
Its fine. Experiment with it when you get it. This is a reserve backup type item, not a primary use item unless its one person with very little cooking needs. I would still recommend as a backup device however. Muli-fuels and ease of use were good. Test it out before you actually need it so you are familiar with how it works the best.

I wanted to love this, but I don't.
This stove seems like a good idea, but doesn't work nearly as well as some others I have. First, the drawer sticks, so it's difficult to close after lighting or to relight. I tried using the recommended Instafire starter from the company, and even after a few tries, it couldn't burn long enough to boil water or even to start a good fire in materials placed above. (I've used other granular fire starters with success, but not this one.) I've found the best way for me to use it is to put a wood shaving and wax starter in the drawer and then carefully add extremely small sticks above, which means a lot of labor just to get some water boiled. I never got a good secondary burn going, either. Yes, the fan does blow, but I found that I couldn't really use it to make fine temperature adjustments, and just trying to blow a flame high isn't my goal. The pluses, that the lower sides do stay cool and that it's lightweight, don't outweigh the negatives to me. Do yourself and buy either a Kelly Kettle (if you need something light) or an Ecozoom Versa (if you don't mind the weight or need something that will also burn charcoal) or similar rocket stove instead.

Boil in under 2 minutes! Works as advertised!!!
They advertise it boils water in under 2 minutes so I had to try it myself. I took the Instafire fire starter and put it in the drawer thingy and lit it, waited around 10 sec and gave the fire starter a quick stir (found that little trick on a scouting trip with my scouts). Then I broke up some dried twigs and smaller limbs and put it down the chimney. Then I turned the fan on on medium to get the fire roaring and then cranked that baby to high. Oh my hell it shot flames 8 or so inches about the top of the stove. Placed 16 oz of water in a pot with a lid on it (that always helps to keep the heat in). Fed more finger sized sticks in the chimney at it did as advertised - boiled the water in under 2 min. Whoever said this stove took 30 minutes to boil must have had a pot the size of Texas with no lid and didn't turn the fan on. Check out the video to see what I am talking about. Never seen a stove with a drawer for the fire starter. Makes sense to get the fire UNDER the wood so you don't smother the damn fire. Amazing product. My go to camp stove.

Easy to use
I get it going with insta fire sticks and a little dryer lint on top of the sticks and woo hoo! Be careful turning on that fan...you don't want to be leaning directly over it when the flames kick up. I also had the previous version of this product and overall I like this new one better. That additional leg gives it much more stability and I like that the fan is built in unlike the previous version. Boils water in S couple of minutes if you use it correctly.

It requires almost constant biomass refueling
The stove requires constant attention and additions of biomass. It frequently requires relighting if the fuel burns up and will not relight if only coals remain. I’ve used lots of backpacking type stoves in the past and this is the worst I’ve seen. Buy a different stove, this one isn’t worth the money.
