These felt animals and labels are smooth to the touch. The labels have legible text on them. The felt isn’t flimsy. Unfortunately there is no board to test the stickiness/adhesion of the felt. Overall, it’s pretty decent start to building at kit for learning about animal names.

This is a colorful animal set with lots of pieces. The animals are mostly realistic looking with a few odd color choices - the rabbit and the koalas are blue and the hippo is pink. The mole is wearing a hard hat and the bear is eating honey from a crock. Also, the label indicates that the mole is a groundhog, but it definitely looks like a mole. And the camel label actually says "Camelot" and "Ostriches" is plural when there's only one ostrich. Translation errors, I guess. All the labels are pointless in my opinion anyway. Honestly, I will either put them away or pitch them. The fun of this toy is imaginative play, not labeling the animals, especially for small children. The other issue is that all the animals are basically the same size, about two inches square. The squirrel, the rhino, and camel are the same size.But the pieces are colorful and attractive. The felt is stiff. I tried to pull the velcro tab off the back because I wanted to see if it would stick to our felt board (not included in the set) without the tab, but I couldn't get the tab off without damaging the felt animal. So it appears to be sturdy. There are five background pieces as well: a pond, tree, sun, flower cluster, and toadstool cluster. Everything can be stored in a clear plastic bag with snap closure. It's not perfect, but for the price, I think this is a nice set.

This is a decent set of felt animals and words. I like the storage bag that comes with it. I also like that they are pre-cut. Less work for prep for this homeschool momma. However, there was a video at the bottom of the page that said there was a felt sheet included, but I did not get that with my set. Thankfully I have a felt book already, but just be aware you will need to supply your own felt board.

This is nice basic set. Characters come with labels. They are nice size. Easy to use. They come off easily on the felt board.

These felt animal peices are thick and colorful. They stay attached to our board perfectly. They are nice quality.For now we just play with the animals, when my kids are a little older the names will be great for labeling.I will definitely purchase other sets.

This is a great set of felt animals for your felt board. There's a large variety of animals, all of which are precut and ready to use. They have a velcro dot already attached to them and they stick very well on my felt board. Also included in the set are the names of the animals which is great for learning how to spell and/or read. My 4 and 5 year olds love using this. I have my 4 year old find me a certain animal and then my 5 year finds the name of the animal and places it on the board. My 7 year old also enjoys using these to make up stories and act out different scenes on the board. I especially like the extras that are included (sun, trees, pond, mushroom...). All in all this is a great learning tool. You do need to purchase a board separately, just an fyi.

So many animals and environments with the words. Story time and a felt board is a must. Very nicely made.

This set of animals complete with their names is a wonderful addition to all of my classroom teaching tools. All it needs is the felt board to put them on.I do have a felt board and I know the children will be excited to have something new to work and play with.The animals are really cute, and having the words to find and place under the correct animal is a plus.These little animals will help children read, and stir their imaginations. To start with I plan on having each child pick one and we'll all help make up a story about it.The possibilities on how to use these as teaching tools are endless. The price isn't bad either. They're all precut and ready to go and store in their own little plastic pouch.I consider this a great find, and an even better buy.
