Great product for the DIY smart home enthusiast
This is an exceptionally useful and unique product. I have a bunch of them in service. You can replace a traditional wired alarm system for home or business, but you can also just use it for general GPIO applications, such as sensing and actuating things in the physical world programmatically. There are many ways to interface/interact with the board, but the most notable way is via existing open platforms and protocols, such as OpenHAB, HomeAssistant, MQTT. IMO you might not be happy if you're expecting to 'simply' load an app on your phone, and have it do what you want via 'the cloud' like a paid service. Maybe that's possible, but I don't know because that's not why it's unique. What makes this product remarkable is its flexibility and power when put to use by smart-home/IOT enthusiasts, experts, tinkerers and integrators.

The product does what it says it does!
The Konnected alarm panel is great! I was able to move all my old Bosch motion detectors and sirens off of the old Bosch alarm panel onto the Konnected panel with relative ease. I now have the upgraded alarm system up and running and remotely controllable using Home Assistant and ESPHome integration.

Resurrecting hardwired sensors in my house for Home Assistant
When my alarm vendor died I lost all support for my system. Connecting the existing hardwired window, door, motion, smoke, and heat sensors was straight forward once I was sure I knew which wire went where. I'm using 11 of the 12 available zones. This board only product does not include a power supply. I wish Konnected included one for this board. I got a 12v 6 amp unit which is probably overkill for my load. Once installed with an ethernet cable, my Home Assistant system recognized the board and I was able to set up my sensors and automations. I didn't have to do any firmware conversions or updates. Alarmo got installed and works great except for one type of sensor. I have a 2 wire fire (heat) sensor which is a normally open (NO) sensor. I tried to configure it as a Heat type sensor. It shows as tripped (Hot) even when I disconnected the wire from the board. Seems like this board only recognizes normally closed (NC) sensors. Konnected website says that they are not certified for life safety devices like smoke and fire alarms, so I don't think I'll get much traction with them. I'll give them a call if new sensors don't fix my problem. Overally, I'm really happy to have found this product. It's exactly what I needed to be able to use my hardwired sensors with Home Assistant and Alarmo.

Easier than you think
They provide a lot of great resources and amazing tech support to get you through it. This is the winning choice over individual, battery operated devices at every window/door

Easy setup
Super easy to install. I hooked up 3 door sensors and 2 motion sensors from an old ADT system and powered it with PoE. Whole setup took about 30 mins minus the time to run an ethernet cable to the alarm control box. After setup, I added an ESPHome device to Home Assistant and the sensors all came right up.

The regional alarm service provider was bought out by a national telecom (NatTel). And the NatTel wanted to replace the existing (incompatible with their system) fully operational and functioning set up in my house, so I looked for alternative (potentially self-monitoring) systems to help avoid the service gouging the NatTel wanted to impose ($500 replace/install+$150/mo monitoring) from the previous service provider. I'm not electronically competent beyond knowing positive and negative on a battery. Bought this in hopes of learning how to replace (YouTube is your friend) and upgrade to Konnected self monitoring system - and it works famously. Take lots of photos before switching out the old system. Follow the instructions, watch the video numerous times - AND IF YOU'RE LUCKY - have a Son-In-Law who knows how to do this type of stuff. SUCCESS and works like a charm. Works directly from my iPhone, all the old system (pre-NatTel) sensors function, and the hard wiring from the original system does exactly as it did before (without the keypad being used beyond it being a decoy to any crook to waste time on). Could I have done it myself - probably - trial and error over a week of frustration with myself. Easier to get a S-I-L you like and who knows how to do this stuff in 2-3 hours, start to finish.

I bought this thinking that the only problem i would have is wiring in the external siren as Irish external sirens have an SAB, but this turned out to be very easy to wire in. I then wired the reed with magnetic contacts and these worked first time perfectly. I then wired in the PIR's and they also worked perfectly. I then wired in the inertia shock sensors (the type that work by vibration) and this is when i hit a problem, they wouldn't work unless i tilted the sensor 90 degrees or hit it really hard with my fist (something a would be burglar wouldn't do) I was disappointed by this and tried reaching out to support thinking I needed to set the zone to a different mode, but the guy i dealt with wasn't helping and offered no solutions other than "It should work" and then a "I've never seen these sensors before". So now I've now boxed the Konnected pro back up and sent it back for a refund. The simple fact is, they won't work with Irish type shock sensors HKC\Aritech which is a pity as everything else was perfect. I'll keep an eye on these and if they manage to get them working with either a different version or an update I'll definitely pick one up, shame as I know a few people interested in these. If you don't mind the shocks not working, then it's worth it for the alerts other features. For me, I need the shocks!.

It was easy to setup and get working, You need something like Home Assistant to trigger and notify alarm conditions.
