Blackcurrant Seed Oil Extract Vegetable Capsules - Pack of 120

Positives - easy to digest, no taste, aftertaste or stomach issues. Have only been on this a week, in which nails grew more than ever before and hair grew a lot vs usual (I know because I can see my natural-colour roots growing in vs dyed hair). I felt in a better mood than usual too!Negatives - no breakdown of exactly how many mgs GLA or any active ingredients present on the bottle. After 3 days of taking just ONE capsule (versus the SIX tablet starting dose mentioned on the bottle...eek!) I started waking up at 5am for no reason. I was also suddenly getting terrible eyelid twitches and gritty, watery eyes - so bad I had to buy drops (I have never had eye problems in my life before). I had heard Black Currant Seed Oil was actually GOOD for eyes so this was bizarre! As an experiment I gave a tablet to my partner (without telling her about the sleep issues). Exactly the same thing happened to her - she woke up way too early the next morning. Note that we both took our capsules before 9am so it was not a case of taking them too late in the day.I took a three day break to clear my system and started to sleep well again and eyes went fully back to normal. I decided to go back on them this morning with the aim of taking one capsule twice a week to minimise side effects, but already 3 hours later the gritty/watery eyes and the twitch is back. Will unfortunately have to stop taking them now, which is a pity.
