Spicy but tasty. Great on katsu chicken.

Im from Hawaii, where this is made. It is the best "katsu" sauce ive found anywhere but I haven't seen it in stores lately, maybe they stopped making it. "Aloha" brand is usually the first choice in Hawaii for shoyu (soy sauce), but even this katsu sauce from them is superior to Kikoman in my opinion, this sauce has a very slight kick to it but I wouldn't consider it to be a hot sauce.For those unfamiliar with Japanese or Hawaii cooking "Katsu" is boneless chicken thats been pounded out, dredged, breaded with panko, then fried. This sauce is meant for that but definitely works with any form of fried chicken and as the other reviewer stated, also works as an excellent steak sauce.

I’m a big fan of Texas Roadhouse steak sauce, but we don’t get to the restaurant enough to keep a steady supply in our house. So I decided to try this one, and it’s delicious! It has all the flavors I love, with a slight touch of sweetness, and a slightly peppery finish. My new favorite.
