Love this baby monitor! Have used it every day since we purchased it. Screen is great resolution, functions are very useful, and my wife and I absolutely love the portability. We can take the mother unit anywhere in the house and it works perfectly, has great battery life, and has a ton of volume (adjustable) for such a compact device.I will point out that our device came with a slight defect in the camera that resulted in the left part of the screen being slightly lighter than the rest of the image (only while infrared camera active, daytime camera has no issue at all). You could still make out the image, and if you place camera correctly it wouldn't impact at all. Originally knocked off a star for the defect in the image, but Yimaler customer service (Fiona) reached out immediately to find out exactly what issue I was experiencing. After some back and forth email to describe the issue and to send some images and what not (they ALWAYS responded within 24hrs), they determined the fault to be on their end, apologized, and issued a refund! This was by far the best customer support experience I've had on any product I've ordered on Amazon.Love the baby monitor, love the customer support service even more.

The sound went out on the monitor for about a week. We couldn't figure out what was going on and were considering returning the unit. One night, however, it miraculously started working again! We're not sure what happened. All of that to say, overall, this has been great. We originally were using a Motorolla monitor that completely fell apart (upsetting considering the money we spent on it) and bought this one as a replacement. The video is clearer than the Motorolla and the sound quality is great (as long as it's working). Only other downside is you cannot control the camera through the monitor. If baby rolls into part of her crib that we don't have a clear shot of, we simply can't see her.

If you only need a monitor to last one year then this is for you. I waited to write my review after seeing others that didn’t last long. Most of us would like to use it longer than a year though. After 6 months it stopped picking up most sounds except when our son would start screaming. Now it doesn’t pick up any sounds. So you have to check it in vox mode. It also doesn’t hold a charge anymore. It has to stay plugged in. This all on top of the annoying blue light you’ll have from the get go. Pro tip: don’t do any other function at night because the second you click off the screen to like check the time or whatever, the blue light shines big and bright right in your kids face. Not worth the money spent.

We’ve had this monitor for 11 months. After a few months, I had to always have the monitor plugged in.2: There’s no “sleep” setting to shut the screen off (while keeping the monitor on itself) I had to hide the monitor under a pillow or something to block the bright light once I got in to bed3: The charger port/cable or something isn’t working right making it very finicky to get it to charge. I’ve woken up several to find the monitor completely dead because it wasn’t charging.4: Can’t move the camera at all from the monitor so it’s hard to get the right angle/view sometimesOverall it’s an OK monitor. I’m already planning on replacing it in our nursery here soon because the battery port and battery life aren’t keeping up. I bought the Infant Optics dx8 monitor and so far I’m WAY more impressed with that one. I wish I had just splurged and bought a better quality camera the first time rather than the two cheaper ones (including this one). Like my friend always says, “you buy cheap, you buy twice!” Unfortunately that saying rings true here.

Of the 4 or 5 monitors I've had, this is by far the best!! Great picture, doesn't pick up white noise maker sound much- just baby sounds, great battery life, good range, and the night vision light isn't obnoxious for baby. Highly recommend!! My only dislike is the on/off button plays a loud, short song when u push it, and if i but it in my pocket sometimes i accidentally push a burton.

I wasn't interested in getting camera that connected to the internet. I wanted a simple close circuit camera for my mother-in-law to watch my infant son while he was napping. The setup was very easy and the overall sound and image quality were impressive and just what we were looking for.I did have an issue with the fact that the power adapters that were included with the camera were european (2 pronged) but once the I communicated this with the seller, they responded very quickly and graciously to resolve my problem.I would definitely recommend this product and the company behind it for their support.

My 90 year old Mom used it to watch my 91 year old Dad for the five months that he was on a Hospice. My Mom could relax in her chair in the living room while my Dad was in his hospital bed in the back bedroom. He would wake up and try to get out of bed on his own. The monitor enabled her to relax while he slept and she wouldn’t have to physically keep getting up and checking on him. She could just watch him on the monitor. When he started to wake up m, she could see and hear him and then get up and help him.

Overall I really enjoy this monitor. This is the second one I’ve bought because my son threw the first monitor away before we realized and took the trash out. Love that it plays music and the temperature reading. The night vision is pretty good. Battery life is good unless the music is playing then it dies pretty fast. Would recommend to anyone just wish you could add more cameras. Easy to set up just plug in.
