Silicone is durable and these really kill the noise.
You can get earplugs of this size and configuration for less...but they are...'less'.These are made of silicone and will last a very long time and through many solvent or dish soap cleanings.I know what works for me and these are it....perfect for motorcycle plugs and don't use those useless strings hooking them together. If you wear a helmet...these are it. I purchased a couple of these because when you find what you are looking for...buy them now...because you may not find them later. BTW the little plastic case is handy. Also. I use a small section of plastic straw for insertion....otherwise it like pushing a rope and they won't get seated properly.

They simply work
Plugs stay put, block more noise than usual and are pretty comfortable. I took them on a trip and wished I would have remembered to trim the stem of them first as it did cause some discomfort as you laid directly on your side. I made it thru several nights with a loud snoring husband along with the help of my white noise machine. Thumbs up for me and I have tried many plugs along with other solutions. I do have sensitive ears along with a very narrow ear canal.

Blocks Noise Well But Hurts Ears
These do a great job at blocking noise. I used these at night while sleeping and each morning I woke up and my ears were killing me. It was I think a mixture of pressure build up and comfort of the ear plugs themselves. I gave 2 stars because I'd say they would work really well for wearing them during a short period of time but would not recommend trying to sleep with them.

Work well, can be tricky at first
Once you figure out how to put these in right, it's pretty easy from then on. They do block noise pretty well and don't fall out as easily as the little silicone blobs.

Fit well
Giving them 5 stars because they do fit my small ear canals. Would give 4 stars for sounds protection, as I can still hear my husband chew his gum from 6 feet away while we are watching TV. Oh, well - such is life. HOWEVER, the packaging was awful. This item is about 1.5x3 inches and it was mailed in a 12x8 padded envelope. What a waste - when I order items shipped this way it makes me want to stop ordering because our landfill are so overflowing with boxes and envelopes. Owner - try and provide better shipping sizes for your products.

Sturdy
Wife likes them, good enough for me... they fall out more than her old pair did and they don't cancel as much noise, but no complaints.

Inferior
I bought a pair of these things... These earplugs are not what they say they are... either I wear them wrong or something but, they don’t cancel out noise; they just bring the noise level down. Terribly disappointed, I have a nocturnal animal in my room right now and I bought these because I thought it would cancel out the noise and allow me to sleep at night, I was wrong. These things also make my ears really sore after wearing them for a while.
