Motion detection Works good. Plenty of light to see in a dark room. I use it my front door so that I don't have to leave a light on when I arrive home at night.

Perfect for studio apartment
I wanted some nightlights that were motion activated. I live in a studio apartment and didn't want the constant light at night, but also wanted to be able to get out of bed and have a soft light come on if I needed to use the restroom or something. I have one in my small bathroom and it's not too bright at night. And even if it was, I could put a piece of masking tape over the light to *dim* it if I needed (the light comes from above and shines down on the ridges below).I also like the sensor feature because my studio apartment doesn't get a whole lot of natural light except for in the later afternoon, and another light that I tried wouldn't turn off even though it was well into the morning. Thankfully the light sensor on these seem pretty sensitive and they did shut off in the morning. BUT, if I had needed I could have just switched them to *off* in the morning and still left them plugged in, or left them on *auto* and they would have stayed off anyway while I was at work for most of the day. Either way, the lights give me multiple options for use and so far I am very pleased with them.

What A Deal!
These night lights are easy to use! Use the switch on the bottom to alternate from constant illumination to motion-activation, and plug in!Sure makes nighttime restroom calls or midnight snacking safer for my late middle-aged self!

it looks good design. but sensor doen't work.
At first time when I pluged them, they were ok. After a few days, There seems to be a problem with the illumination sensor of the product. Even I adjust the switch , it is always on during the bright day, and it is still on at night.
