It's a sledgehammer. I can hit things with it and it works like it should.

Very durable
This sledge is excellent! I am breaking rocks with this hammer in our back yard. Large rocks are being smashed, and plus I am getting a body workout in the process. My mother said, I was hitting the ground so hard, she could hear the ground shaking!

This is a big hammer
Maybe my title is a little obvious, but for anyone out there who doesn’t do demolition work on a daily basis, be warned - this thing is pretty heavy and the handle is long. I’m a girl and I consider myself to be decently strong, but it is slightly difficult for me to use... that being said, it is super sturdy and would probably be great for a lumber jack.I bought it to help split some wood for my fireplace. Although tough to handle for me, I managed to get some kindling. Probably could have gone for a lighter sledge and a hatchet for my purpose though, so something to keep in mind depending on what you want to use it for!

First one broke after a couple weeks, replacement lasted 3 weeks
handle broke @ the head first timebroke 4 inches from the end of the handle the second timeI am past the 'return date' so stuck with this broken hammer nowBuying something else next time
