I love this carrier! Great design, very pretty and sturdy, and my little-over-10lb boy has enough space in there to lie down and turn around. We used it to take him to the vet and it worked great. He does not like to stay in a carrier much and since he is leash trained, I let him out while we were waiting, and the doors let him easily go in and out. We did not need it last time, but the opening on the top will work great for taking out shy cats from the carrier. I do have a shy cat and will test it with her next time we take her to the vet. (Speaking as someone works in the veterinary profession, we LOVE carriers with top openings! Makes everything SO MUCH easier). We will use this carrier for a road trip across the country soon, and I will update after the trip.Update:We recently used this carrier to take our girl cat on a few trips, one of them being 800+ miles long. The carrier works great, and she is comfortable sitting and sleeping in it. However I noticed another problem, probably a problem for all soft-sided carriers, that it does not work well for a hyperactive cat. She was fine for the longer trip, but in a more recent 200 miles trip she got spooked in the car, and started to struggle and try to push her way out of the carrier. The carrier does not hold up well, and because of all the movements the safe belt start to wrap tighter and tighter around the carrier and it eventually collapsed on one side. We had to pull over and deal with the situation. I do not know which happened earlier, but when I checked on her I found out that she also peed in the carrier. Maybe the collapsed carrier freaked her out, or she peed first and then all the hyperactivity was just trying to get away from the wet spot? The car seat also got wet and it took us a day to clean the car and get rid of the smell in hot summer days. The opening for you to stick a hand in to pet the cat is also big enough for her to jump out and she did jump out from it when my husband did not close it fast enough (she is 9.8lb for your reference). So if you know your cat may act up or pee in her carrier, the soft sided carrier is not a good option as it can get messy and the whole situation can get out of control. When I used it for my boy cat I never had a problem like this, as he is more calm and better socialized. Next time she will be in the hard plastic carrier.All in all I still think this is a great carrier by itself. Just not a carrier for every cat.

I really love the reinforced handles and option to have over the shoulder or hand carry. The length of the longer strap is perfect too. I especially appreciate the padded strap for over the shoulder. The size was a little on the small side for my dog; I honestly should have gone one size bigger (he's 10 pounds), but he still fits in it; so I'm happy with it. It's a temporary travel thing for my dog to take him to the vet or whatever, so he really shouldn't be walking around in it, just staying put. The mesh zippered "options" also make it easier for me to be able to calm my dog down...he can see me and I can stick my hand in to calm him down if needed. I love the pockets on the sides too...enough to carry a poop bag roll and a small bag of treats. The bottom is a very sturdy piece of board that is removable (and replaceable); made it easier to transport my dog. Overall I am extremely happy with it.

Good Price, Good Quality. Well Packaged. Like, Color and Style. Like the padding, . Like ends unzip. Like the top unzips. My cat, Charlotte likes it,(We have yet to use it) like, no funny smell. Like room for her blanket and a toy. Yes i would Recomend & buy again.

I usually don't write reviews. But I thought people should know how small this travel bag is. I have a 3 POUND kitten and the space is really tight in the MEDIUM bag. The bag seems really nice and sturdy. But the space is tight for him. It will work fine for short trips to the vet but if your planning on long trips you may want to get a bigger bag so you pet can move around a bit.

This seems to be an excellent carrier. My 'girl' weighs about 20 pounds and she loves it - she gets excited whenever I pick it up.Have used it for about 5 months, almost 5 times a week, every week, and no sign of wear. A lot of storage pockets and multiple zipped panels are a great help. Very happy with this purchase!APRIL 2022 UPDATE:Having used this carrier 5 days a week for almost every week since purchasing in August of 2021, I'm still highly impressed and very satisfied. I'm surprised that anyone has had problems with this carrier because the one I have has not been pampered in any way, shape, or form, and it's like new. My 'girl' still loves it and she isn't gentle on it either. She did chew a small hole in the one net panel, but that was an easy fix and not the fault of the manufacturer. This carrier made it through a Pennsylvania winter without showing any signs of damage, doesn't show dirt, zippers still work flawlessly, handles still strong and showing no signs of wear. I have actually recommended this carrier to a few people, and that's unbelievable because I almost NEVER recommend anything! I just wish everything I buy would perform this well.

The carrier is very cute and sturdy, my cat had a bit of a fuss on the plane and it held up great. The lining on the bottom can be washed which is great since he threw up on our way home😅

Para nada lo recomiendo. La segunda vez que lo usé mi gato rompió la tela y se escapó de suerte no lo perdimos. Y de suerte esto no pasó en el avión que fue la primera vez que lo usamos.
