I was looking for a good looking door-bell to go along my white interiors, and this bell did fit the criteria with its white front and back, and striking red sides. Also, I am not that fond of those bells with long chimes/music that keeps irritating you for a long time, even post you opened the door and guest settled down. 🎁 INSIDE BOX 1x Door bell with 5-6 inches wire ➕ PROS 1. Ding-dong bell is loud enough to be heard across rooms and that is really a good part. 2. Quality is really good to make it long lasting. Its been 3 years and its still on. 3. Looks would be another pros, as its difficult to find good looking door bells these days. ➖ CONS Nothing as such ⚙️ IMPORTANT I have seen multiple people complain about burn out issue for this door bell, and I would like to technically address this having some electrical background. 1. These ding-dong bells have a coil inside which creates magnetism to drive a striker to metal plates on both the sides and make ding-dong sound. Now till the time that magnetism is able to drive the striker, its all good. 2. Now bell switches have spring mechanism, to only supply current for a short while and that works well for a single strike. Once you leave it, it goes back to off position removing current supply to the coil. This is how you use it or operate it. 3. If someone would keep the switch pressed, there would be continuous supply to the coil but magnetism wouldnt be put to use as its good only for one strike. This would overheat the coil and burn it. You could always hear humming sound when its kept pressed, as striker is locked in a position. 4. Its a simple logic, like if you switch on the fan but do not allow it to turn, magnetism wouldnt be put to use and burn the coils inside. You do multiple short presses to have multiple ding-dong sounds in one go, nothing would happen, but keep it pressed for a long time, that is it. 5. The catch here is, you cant control your guests. ;) So its not the company at fault here, if it burns. 🏆 VERDICT This will a perfect ding-dong bell to go along with loud sound to serve the purpose well. Also, its long lasting and mine is working fine for the past three years, yes I said 3 years + and still running.
