Solved my problem
I installed the tank to eliminate a problem with my RV instant water heater. I have a remote shop that we added a bathroom in and decided the 12v RV instant water heater made more sense than the traditional electric ones. After it was installed (on our county water supply) I would find a puddle of water from time to time. After some research I realized the expansion was the issue and added this tank. Problem solved. I realize instant water heaters aren’t supposed to need a tank but my application did and it was a cheap solution. Loved the built in mounting points. I will add pictures at a later update.

The tank has a factory installed mounting bracket
The installed mounting bracket makes mounting easy. I used the tank in a recreational vehicle mostly to reduce water pump cycling, but also to eliminate water heater pressure valve release.

Glad I bought this!
This was a win... easy to install and seems very well made. It works GREAT to minimize pump cycling on my sailboat, it actually feels like I'm moving up in the world when I wash the dishes now because I don't have to listen to the pump going on and off. :) I just installed it so no comment on durability but so far I'm very happy with it and feel that its a great value when compared to the plastic versions with smaller capacity.

Great for boondocking in RV
Added this to my 19ft travel trailer last summer. My goal was to eliminate the on/off water pumping while doing dishes & trying to conserve water. I can trickle the faucet for 50-85 seconds with this 2 gal accumulator before the pump engages. Saves water & 12v battery power! Debated between this & the smaller Sea-Flo version and I'm glad I got this because its 2 gal vs the .75L size difference. There are 3.8 liters per gallon so this one is almost 8 times larger capacity for a little extra in price. I agree with another reviewer that said these should be standard in the RV industry! The pre set PSI was perfect, did not have to adjust it & I added an isolation valve for winter storage.
