These spoons are a standard size soup spoon size and add a touch of drama to the table. They would be good family style serving spoons, as well as soup or cereal spoons. The pattern is smooth and not cut into the handle. The bowl of the spoon is a dramatic black, that could go well with other dinnerware designs.This spoon is not extremely heavy, yet it does not feel cheap.If you never have enough big spoons this set will give you a fun way to add the pieces you wish to supplement.

The pattern on these spoons is not what I expected. I expected an embossed design with some texture. These spoons almost look like the pattern has been printed on and sealed. IDK. The spoons themselves are good quality and a good weight. I like the black. These spoons are big enough to be used as serving spoons but I consider them soup spoons.

This set of 12 Stainless Steel Soup or Dining Sized Spoons are a nice looking set of spoons if you like geometric style patterns or need extra larger sized spoons that are black in color. The pattern really catches your eye, as the black coloring provides a lot of contrast against the stainless - it makes the silver color of the stainless really pop out at you. The only place that really has the silver coloring is in the area with the pattern. I chose these spoons to supplement my everyday stainless set (not black colored) which is missing a couple of spoons that I am hoping to be able to replace, though my pattern is no longer being made. I was also curious to see if the black coloring would hold up as well as the regular stainless. I have been using these spoons for a couple of weeks now, and washing them in the dishwasher, and so far, they are holding up fine. I do not know what grade of stainless steel this is. Compared to my regular stainless at home, this stainless is lighter weight for sure. It is comfortable to hold.

Functionally, these are fairly nice. They're easy to hold and wash, and the spoon portion is just the right size (not too small or large). I was really excited to have a set of black metal flatware, but I will say that I was a little disappointed to find that these are simply stainless steel that have some sort of coating to make them appear black. Additionally (like another user pointed out) the design isn't embossed into the metal - instead it looks like it's printed on the handle as a part of the spoon coating, which I'm not a fan of. These are okay for now, but I worry what these will look like after significant wear and washing.

Somehow I missed the part of the add that said the spoons are shiny black so was a bit surprised when i opened them. I love the color black so it was not a problem. The design on the stem is cool in fact if I could find knives and forks I would want a complete set but at this time all I could find were spoons. I discovered something purely by accident and please DO NOT do this at home. I had left one of these spoons in a container which I put in the microwave. Had no idea the black metal spoon was in there. When i found the spoon after running the microwave for 45 seconds I realized there was no arcing , no sparks and no smoke. I am not saying these spoons won't do that I am only relating the facts of what happened in my situation...The ad called these spoons dessert spoons , I would say they are soup spoons. Regardless, I would recommend and would want a full set.

These spoons were advertised as dessert spoons and also serving spoons . They are good tablespoons with handle design that looks geometric , they are marked stainless steel . The design isn’t etched in and I’m not sure what process was done to have the design on handle . I don’t think it will scratch off at least not for a long time .

I love these spoons. The are perfect for cereal and chunky soups.Have a very nice heft, and the design has really held up to lots of use and washing. These spoons have the perfect length handle. I know that sounds weird to mention but, we've bought and returned so many eating utensils with really very long handles. Its weird.We love these spoons and are very happy with them being a new addition to our family table.

These spoons are heavy and great quality! I shared them with my sister and plan to use them for Thanksgiving holiday
