These little brushes have a nice even edge and provide an even coating. I use them mostly with water-based paints. I actually have been known to wash them a couple times before disposing of them. I find that you can clean them better if you moisten them before using them with water-based paints. I don't know how well they would hold up to oil-based paints. You can't beat them for convenience.
