Found this bed very poor quality. I purchased it based on the good reviews but it's very disappointing. It's very cheap light pine stained to look more expensive. Arrives in 4 boxes which all need to be emptied to find the parts. Some parts are numbered some aren't so you just have to guess but it's not to difficult to work out if your used to flat pack and DIY. So, starting to put it together, the boards are warped, they don't sit flush, the dowels don't fit neatly they are loose, the holes for the dowels are not aligned, therefore the parts don't sit square leaving gaps. If you try and tighten the screws more to rectify these issues as advised by the seller, the wood is so soft the screws just break through and become loose. The leather handles are cheap and tacky and the drawers won't hold much, or any weight as they are flimsy. The base is made of 3 units with the slats resting directly on top. One of the units collapsed as many areas where you add a screw there will be a dowel on the other side, compromising and strength in the joins. I have no idea how this bed is allowed to be on the market as I will barely hold it's own weight never mind that of a mattress and person. The seller is quick to blame the buyer however I've since had a joiner look at the bed and the have confirmed the above. This bed is not usable and I'm pursuing a refund.Photos:1. The larger panels are thinner strips of stained pine bonded together, they are warped.3. Dowels are not aligned so pieces cannot be connected together correctly. The advice of the seller here was to screw the screws tighter. Useless if you can't get the dowels to fit never mind the screws in!4. The advice that it was myself at fault and that I'm no screwing the screws hard enough to align warped boards and wrongly drilled towel holes results in the cheap pine splitting.5. A dark photo but you can see again a screw positioned only millimetres from another screw of the same length on opposite sides of the wood. This join also collapsed.

Firstly, I want to say I love the bed, it's exactly what I hoped and wanted it for and there are very few beds on the market that gives you this kind of unique look and level of storage. However... it is not without its drawbacks, go in with your eyes wide open:*PROS* - Truly a unique looking bed. - Beautiful. - Very sturdy. - Loads of storage space, can easily replace your chest of drawers/clothes rack. - The pull out side tables are exactly what you want at a moment's notice when you're lying in bed and want to check your phone/read a book/place your cup of coffee.*CONS* - Expensive - Heavy - The build will take you an absolute minimum of 6 hours with two people building together (assuming you don't make any mistakes and work efficiently as a team). It took us at least 7 and a half hours. - The manual is really poorly demonstrated and actually incorrect in some diagrams, it makes you long for an IKEA bed. - A lot of the wood was warped or in some places scratched which diminishes from the overall impressive build. - The bed arrives in 4 large boxes, rather than one simple flat pack. - The supporting wood on the bottom of the drawers are very flimsy and some of the drawers could stand to be a lot deeper as the bed is pretty big. - This bed will undoubtedly be a pain to relocate if you're ever going to move house/flat.

I waited months for this to restock and while it’s been an okay purchase, I wouldn’t buy again and instead would look elsewhere.Building this was a complete nightmare. Not to mention it was delivered in two parts which wasn’t mentioned anywhere, so I built half of it and then had to wait days for the rest to arrive while I slept on the floor. It was incredibly painful and difficult to build, and some of the screws for it are garbage. the ones for attaching the top rim (which also holds the slats for the mattress) are far too short and easily rip up, so i had to replace them with some better screws I had spare.Which leads me to my next problem - the “rim” at the top is poorly attached and so you can’t lift from it at all, which makes this bed near-impossible to move.Also, the pull-out trays at the side are only supported by two screws and so they sit at a slope, which means you can’t use them for drinks like depicted as it would just slide off and spill.Nonetheless it has a great amount of storage and looks quite nice once you eventually get it together. The wood is pretty thick and, providing you dont rip the entire top off it if you ever attempt to move it, it should last a reasonable while. Just a shame there are so many substantial design flaws.

Unbuildable stews are broken and nothing lined up

Beautiful bed, excellent quality. Only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is putting it together was a long and laborious process!

Solid bit of furniture, great fittings, good instructions, great storage. Would recommend but be prepared to spend some time assembling it

Beautiful bed, it takes ages to assemble but once completed is sturdy ans reliable. Product arrived when it said it would - although the boxes were abit damaged the contents was fine, luckily. I'd recommend this bed for anyone that isnt afriad of diy and likes a challenge.

There is a significant amount of building, so electric screwdriver very handy. It arrives in four boxes, each box contains parts for either side, bed end and the middle. Looks great once built. Bed is quite high once you have added a mattress.
