Really sour tasting shot that sure gets your face tingling, after having it first thing in the morning it didn’t half wake me up after nearly blowing my socks off, will definitely be getting some of these super convenient shots again!

It's difficult to really assess drinks like these as they need to be used over time. C4 energy shot is designed to be a pre-workout shot to boost focus.In total there are 12x 60ml bottles that ship inside a cardboard carton. Each bottle is sealed and it is advised that you should only use one a day pre-work out. As these are caffeine based you also need to be aware of total consumption and not exceed the recommended amount. Trying one of these the flavour is actually quite nice. It is sour but with a sweet edge and a slight tingle. It's not unlike a popular brand of sweet that has a sour mix. After consuming it I did feel a little more energised. This maybe a placebo effect but I did feel a lift.A pleasant flavoured shot that feels like it gives you a pre-work out lift.

I love sour things, generally, but only with sufficient sweetness. These just tasted like bile to me, borderline inedible.Points for good packaging and branding, and they do pack a punch, the taste is just awful though.

The media could not be loaded.  I'm a bit fan of sour products, more sour than sweet that's me. This taste is good I like it, but taking the shot didn't give me the pre-workout benefit I was hoping for. It might be because I'm used to 175-200mg of caffeine, and high doses of citruline malate, 5g creatine monohydrate, decaffeine malate etc.. These kinds of ingredients work for me.This product has ingredients that are weak compared to what I'm used to, caffeine is ok at 150mg but the rest were only half of recommended daily amount and you can't drink more than 1 shot per day. There is also only 10 shots so 10 days and not even 1 month supply. This is slightly a smidge better than having instant coffee, I did take it after only having 5 hours sleep and it made me sleepy instead of waking me up I chilled out in bed for 1 hour then I fell asleep, to be fair that was probably me only having 5 hours sleep the previous day, but taking it again next day the dose is just too low, I didn't feel the need to train and it didn't give me energy.Sorry C4 I used to take years ago and I don't know the ingredients changed or something because it used to be great once upon a time. I would have thought at the very least make up for quality of ingredients with quantity of shots like 50 or so, but make the caffeine 75mg so I can take 2 shots.Best thing about this product is the taste, nice and sour mmmmmmm. Unfortunately contains Acesulfame K and Sucralose, I would rather Stevia, as the alternatives are harsh on health.

I really like the flavour of these shots I love a sour flavour and these have a proper spur kick.. yum..I think the source zing also helps kick start the energy. I've used these a few times on long lat work shifts when I start getting tired really does help give me my second wind.

These deliver on the promise and do give a good energy boost. I work 12 hour night shifts and no matter how much sleep I get as soon as it 3 or 4 in the morning I start to struggle.I have been trying these out and they definitely do wake me up and give me the lift I need to finish my shift.Small 30ml bottle that you just drink like a shot.Quite tasty too, tastes like sour apple to me.

Now these are definitely a marmite sort of flavour, you'll either love them or you'll hate them. Personally I love a sour flavour so these were ideal for me although I also gave a bottle to a friend of mine and they felt it was too sour.Aside from taste, myself and my friend both felt a noticeable difference in energy from these shots. Price is reasonable and I think they're ideal for most.

My husband, a keen runner, has been using these before long runs to give him an extra boost. They seem to be quite effective and he says that they definitely keep him going. At £19.99, they're a little bit costly but the results are good - my husband is reserving them for the longer distance runs and more challenging fell runs. He drinks one around 30 mins before and they help give him that extra bit of energy. The bottles are quite small and easy to consume quickly. The sour batch flavour is pleasant but very sour! I've had a taste and wow... it's sour lol. It's also sweet, but not too sweet. It's a great way of taking a quick shot of energy, especially before exercise.
