Great for the price.
So far this is a great medium size light with a built in usb type C charging port. The light has good thow and is very bright in turbo mode. It uses a single 21700 (included) 5000mah battery and feels substantial and solid in the hand. The UI is relatively straightforward and the auto lock can be disabled. It has a sturdy feeling pocket clip (tip down) that is screwed into the body of the light with three small screws. It also has a small status indicator light on the side that turns on when the light is on. Would personally liked to have seen it used as an aux light while the light is off. But Overall for the "sale" price of around $40 - $45 with discounts the sc33 is an excellent light with a serviceable ui and so far seems to be fairly robust. I wouldn't consider a good edc pocket size/weight for most but as a glovebox, kitchen drawer, nightstand, etc light it's pretty much perfect. The e-switch on the light has a short travel and makes a satisfying click each time you press it I much prefer it over some other lights with rubber capped switches. Since mine didn't come with any instructions and I didn't find a complete manual online I've complied some observations from using the light below. While Locked:Click and hold to temporarily (while button is depressed) turn on in low modeSingle quick click will double flash (bright) to indicate that the light is locked outDouble click will unlock but leave auto lock enabledTripple click will unlock but leave auto lock enabledQuad click will unlock and disable auto lockUnlocked -- Off:Click and hold to turn on in low/moon modeSingle click to turn on at last brightness level except turboDouble click to go to turbo brightnessTriple click for strobeQuad click to manually enable lockout modeWhile on:Click and hold to step/ramp up or down (depending on ramp mode)Single click to power offDouble click to turboTriple click to strobeQuad click to change ramping mode

Really nice light, impressive value
The light is very bright, with a fairly even floody beam pattern. It has a good selection of modes, has a lockout mode, and instant access to (momentary) moonlight mode even from lockout with a press+hold. Moonlight mode still puts out a good bit of light, more than most edc-sized lights, (which this light isn't exactly, the 21700 form factor is compact, but not necessarily EDC-sized) but still useful for not blinding you. The only exposed rubber on the light is the usb-c port plug. The tailcap switch is metal, and feels durable, though I haven't used it long enough to be sure. The anodizing feels very nice, should hold up well to wear. The UI is fairly intuitive, and there are quick shortcuts to strobe and high without cycling through modes. With onboard charging and a 21700 battery, this is significantly better than some 18650 lights I paid 2-3x more for just a few years ago. If you catch a sale price, this is easily in the "bargain" price range, for a decent light. Even at normal price, I'd say it's a decent value.

Brightest light I own. Fantastic
I have most of the wurkkos/sofirn lights and they are all great but THIS one is a winner. This is pretty much their flagship medium size light and it shows. Actual regulated driver so it mostly maintains constant brightness, temp step down, stepped or ramp options, and a truly great e-switch and UI. I wish it had Anduril software but the UI on this light is great and offers DIRECT access to moon, a user memory setting, or turbo, and that's what I like most about Anduril anyway. I know I can pick it up and know for sure which of 3 modes I will get, Perfect! Saw some tests of this light hit 4,000+ lumens on the stock battery. It certainly looks like it too, blows away any other light I have, it's literally like a helicopter search light. The color temp on the cree xhp70.3 Hi I got looks a perfect 5700-6,000k no higher, tint is almost perfectly white too no hint of green. The beam is a general use type with a mixed flood and spot profile. It throws decent due to the sheer lumens it puts out, but it does tend toward the floody side (but not as floody as say the sc28). Just a great general beam profile most should enjoy. Only negative I can say is it's a little chunky, the tail e-switch requires and internal double wall design so it's a bit thicker than an sc28 or td04. Auto lockout is able to be turnes off on the newest shipment (4 clicks). Don't forget you have to charge the battery when you get it, they come semi depleted in storage mode. One more thing, be careful if you are not used to high power flashlights or who you give this to. This light is powerful enough it can start a FIRE or burn your clothes or house if accidentally turned on in turbo next to flammable items. Leave auto lock on, lock it out yourself, or just be mindful of it. This is a fantastic light, and I think you will be amazed at it like I am.

This is THE light I was waiting for sofirn to come out with. I own the s33s as well which is an amazing light. Only downside with the sofirn s33s is the side switch does frequently turn on accidentally in your pocket and these lights generate alot of heat, enough to melt your pants type of heat. The sofirn SC33 is the upgraded version of the s33s. It has a 21700 battery which is more efficient with longer runtimes. It has a tail switch and a lockout feature so accidental turn ons won't be happening. It's also thinner and 200 lumes brighter. Build quality is great and it's a simple, bright, long runtime flashlight. Perfect for work, camping or any application really. My new favorite EDC light.
