There's a Mouse in My House (Ross Collins' Mouse and Bear Stories)

"There's a Bear in My Chair is a must read to the 2 to 5 year old set". So I was expecting something that was just as witty. Unfortunately "There's a Mouse in my House", although cute, did not live up to the original.

This was such a good book for a young child, it has a remember scheme that is not annoying & a Mo Williams -esque joke at the end. A great Author for future purchases.

The book came damaged, but it is a very cute story. We have the book that comes before it called "theres a bear in my chair" which is a board book. I assumed when I chose a hardcover book that it would be a board book like the last one however it was paper pages with just a hardcover. I should have paid better attention to the description but I was still disappointed especially cause the cover was crushed somehow. It is a super cute story though. No fault to the publisher just the physical state of the book was not ideal.

She reads it herself to adults. She's yet too young to read.

This is the 2nd book - I think. 1st book - A Bear In My Chair. Bought the 1st one for my granddaughter - to read to her before bed. I always read any child's book before I present it to them - had a disaster once - lesson learned. After pre reading the Bear in my Chair - I went back on Amazon - and bought this A Mouse In My House. Love them both!

Love that this is a continuation to the book There’s a Bear on My Chair. They’re both one of mine and my daughters favorite books.

This is the perfect follow up to “There’s a Bear in My Chair.” Funny for kids and adults, and great illustrations!

Great book for older siblings to read to younger siblings.

My 3 year was captivated by the first book “there’s a bear in my chair”, but unfortunately didn’t really enjoy “there’s a mouse in my house”

Shame it’s not a board book like “There’s a bear on my Chair”. Fantastic sequel. Could there be a trilogy?!

My 3 year old granddaughter loves this. It's great to read aloud and the illustrations are excellent.
