Good quality protein powder without additives
I’ve tried several plant-based protein powders, and this pea protein powder stands out. The texture is smooth and mixes well with both water and non-dairy milk without getting overly gritty. I like that it has a clean, natural taste—slightly earthy but not overpowering—so it works great in smoothies, oatmeal, or even baking. Another big plus is that it’s easy to digest and doesn’t cause bloating the way some other protein powders do. I also appreciate that it’s made with simple ingredients and no unnecessary additives. Overall, it’s a solid source of plant protein that supports my energy and recovery, and I feel good knowing it’s a healthier, allergen-friendly option. I’ll definitely keep this one in my rotation.

An unexpectedly pleasant surprise!
This particular product went above my pretty reasonable expectations. It is very clear that the company cares about a number of things beyond the protein powder that you're buying as well: there's obviously a functional extra step to remove excess sodium, the packaging is minimal yet insanely sturdy, and the pea protein powder itself is so finely ground that it mixes incredibly easily into whatever I've placed it (plain cold water, hot soup, even combining it with a larger brand-name protein powder which is loaded with a lot of stevia... this stuff definitely did the job in terms of reducing the sweetness without overwhelming it with pea flavor, etc.). Best of all, I am satiated, it's easy to digest, and I could probably add it to cooked brown rice to make it a more complete protein before and after exercise. I often see a lot of reviews where people complain about pea protein being too salty and tasting awful to the point where they're retching. While I can attest to the former and never the latter (know what you're getting... it's peas, and you know it's peas even though it's overall rather "flavorless"), I can say that neither are issues and so far -at least for me- this brand has something which is also easy to digest. The only thing which initially raised my eyebrow was needing two scoops per serving according to the nutrition label to gain the full benefit. However, when I saw the size of the scoop (which I will happily add was in its own little wrapper; first time I've seen that!), it's pretty small and the total serving size is only 33g. Most of the protein powders use a bigger scoop for a higher amount, and still you would gain several grams less per serving than this stuff. Maybe a smaller scoop is better since you have more control over a finer powder? No idea, but it's really of no consequence to me since I tend to use a teaspoon anyways and I can calculate how much I'm getting regardless of whatever I'm using nonetheless. It's a very good ratio here. While I understand that tastes certainly vary as much as tolerances, I would highly recommend this powerhouse of a product disguised as a little gem floating around on Amazon. I will undoubtedly be buying this again. What a beautiful job this company has done! Update: I've already ordered another only days later since I'll be sharing it with someone equally impressed.

Totally reasonable workhorse, not delightful
I think this is a totally decent quality protein for very good value for the price. It doesn't have weird flavors or aftertastes, doesn't have any additives. The main thing I don't love is the texture. It's a little clumpy, somehow, compared to other pea protein isolates I've used, so I wish it were smoother and stirred together more easily. I also liked that it's low in sodium.

Good stuff :)
This is very great, i recently went dairy free due to acne and cut whey protein out since its dairy this was a perfect replacement, i mix it with a morning shake that consist of, 240 ml unsweetened almond milk, 2 scoops of this, 2 frozen bananas, pumpkin seeds 30grams, 25-40 almonds, creatine, glutamine, its great overall no upset stomach i haven’t had no problems with this whatsoever give it a try 27gram protein quality is great, the taste u can barely taste it long as u mix it like i do,

If You're Deficient in B Vitamins, Do Not Use...
I have been using their cheap pea protein almost daily for over a year. It's probably the cheapest source of protein available; however, remember the old adage, 'You get what you pay for'. If you are properly nourished, especially with B-vitamins, you should be okay. If you are B-vitamin deficient, which is a danger if you are a Vegan who has eliminated fortified grains from your diet, then it's very possible that this product will exacerbate things. As far as I know, pea protein isolate is completely lacking in riboflavin, thiamine, and the other vitamins absolutely required to digest proteins and carbohydrates. I used to bake with it, combining it with unfortified white flour. The biscuits I made were tasty and were packed with protein, but I found out the hard way that they are not digestible on their own. You better be eating mushrooms, spinach, and dried sunflower seeds, or other B-vitamins if you want to avoid malnourishment. Sadly, the reason that this product gets one star is because the corporation, Microingredients (owned by Bayland Health), cares absolutely nothing about the health of it's customers. The reason that we don't know exactly how much riboflavin is in their product is because they are too cheap to pay for a micronutrient analysis of their products. They also deceptively claim that their product is tested by a 3rd party. Their website states, "All our ingredients come with USA lab test reports. You are welcome to request free digital copies of any lab reports." However, they refuse to post this information on their website and flat out refuse to give this information to customers and/or potential customers who request it. It's obvious that they have things to hide. In all likelihood the pea protein they sell is not from North America and is instead grown, harvested, and manufactured in China. When non-profits like Consumer Reports test supplements for heavy metals, they usually find dangerously high levels. I'm concerned that the super-cheap products from this company are significantly less safe then they claim. I will probably finish the rest of the 2.2 kg bag, but I doubt I'll ever buy their product again (if you do use protein supplements, I do recommend baking with them; the offensive grittiness is indeed minimized). I'm also going back to eating more tofu. It's not as cheap as protein isolate, but it's more nutritious and moderately less processed.

Mixes very well with water, has little taste. Good product.
Mixes very well with water, has little taste. Good product. Digests fast. I drink it with just water. I find it good to mix with other proteins. It is half the price of the cheapest, quality whey protein on Amazon yet is a very good quality. I drink so much protein powder that I wanted to research a way to reduce costs and found this. Doing one serving of this with a serving of whey should still give you 50+ grams of protein and I find it much easier on my digestive system too while saving some money.

Good Value
I like that this product as it is dairy free and provides 27 grams of protein. However, it is really chalky. It’s a good value as it comes in a 5 pound bag. I recommend mixing it with fruit or adding some stevia to it to help with the taste. I love the Micro Ingredients brand.

Best vegan powder we’ve had and we keep on purchasing it!
We keep on coming back to this P protein my son is vegan. We’ve tried a lot of different protein powders in this one comes out far ahead of the others. It has no taste digest easily and mixes well in the blender. I well, he recommends it extremely.!!
