Wow! These are REALLY Nice! Well Packed, too.
UPDATE: i wore the cream ones at a Victorian Dickens event that required walking on DG paths, damp grass and soil. I was in them four at least six hours total and my feet never hurt. They held up well to candidations and wiped clean. Great purchase.I actually can't believe how nice these boots are for the money. They look like leather but nothing had to die for them. They are SO comfortable, the foot bed is padded. I bought them for Victorian outfits and liked them so much I immediately bought in black and cream. Just as nice. I am a WIDE width 8 (not extra wide) and upsized to a 8.5 and they fit perfect. No issue with pinching the sides of my feet, and my planter fasciitis insole fits very well. I am wearing them this weekend so will update if any issues. Also packaged very well with shoe sleeves, inserts. Quality experience all the way around. Appreciate no zippers so keeps historic but I'll probably wear these all the time.

Perfect for my historical characters
Every year around Halloween in a historical cemetery tour, I portray a late 19th or early 20th century character who tells the story of someone who met an untimely and often grisly demise. I bought some boots like these here ten years ago that were surprisingly comfortable and held up remarkably well, given how inexpensive they were. They looked great with my costume. Finally, they got too ragged, so I ordered these boots (a slight upgrade), hoping they'd be just as comfortable as the old ones. They're perfect. More comfortable, actually, and the materials they're made of are better. Great purchase, can't wait to wear them next Halloween--or maybe sooner for a night out! I wear size 8 and they're true to size.

So much nicer than expected
These arrive at a very nice little gift box. For 50 bucks I was hoping they would be something I could use for a couple of years for costume use. They are very soft, they don't need a break in really at all - this surprised me. They are certainly something you're not going to use for everyday use, and I don't know if the soles would hold up. They seem rather soft and not real durable, but I didn't buy them for hiking. I bought them for an accompaniment to a witch's costume but I could see using them as unaccompaniment to a period costume also. I would recommend them if you like the look of them, they're true to size.

Comfy and Classy
These boots are exactly as they look. They are well built and very comfortable. Like any lace up boot, it takes some effort to get them on and off, but worth the effort. They have that authentic historical look I was hoping for.

I wear these every day
Edit: I've had these for four months and they're starting to fall apart. To be fair I still wear them every day, but they're not made to last. These are super comfy. I know they're kind of designed to be more for costuming but I genuinely wear these every day and feel super cute and confident.

Very comfortable & stylish
Somehow, these boots are more comfortable than the far more pricy American Duchess boots that I waited months to get, & they're just as stylish. they're comfortable enough to be a daily wear shoe if you take care of them.

Omg I can’t believe how nice
I was skeptical but holy kamoly, these are really nice boots. I normally wear a 9 but ordered a 9.5 because with jeans and boots I usually wear socks. They fit perfectly. Heel height is just a tad under 2”. Love them so much I ordered a red and brown pair. One thing to note, the sole has treads to help from slipping, but the heels have hard plastic so you might want to get a some non slip rubber to glue to just the heels.

Beautiful Boots -- But Not Made of Leather
Because these reproduction boots are made of something gross like polyurethane, they were not at all comfortable when I tried them on. They don't conform to your feet as you wear them; your feet have to conform to them. Nope!!!One of the grommets used to lace the boot up wasn't installed correctly. If you buy these, you might want to be sure to really check them over carefully before you wear them out to make sure they are properly constructed. The color was beautiful, a rich camel as was the shape and design but the bottom line for me was they were constructed of man-made materials which means my feet could not breathe and they probably would have worn my feet in ways that would not have been good long-term so I returned them.On Etsy I found a vendor that will make find leather boots to fit my measurements at a very reasonable price. That's what I decided to pursue because these boots will last a long time and they will not hurt my feet.
