this knife comes sharp out of the box. i like the lock release, it's secure but simple to disengage.

First time buying a Albatross brand knife. Love the smooth open and close button. It is very very sharp and comes with clip wrench!

I bought the chartreuse handle as much as the knife itself on a whim. I was pleased to determine the Albatross was a good cheap little knife. Outta the package it is very sharp. The knife opens and closes quickly. The blade length about right for every day carry. Since I use pocket knives for a variety of chores, I don't expect cheap ones to last long, but if you're a guy who carries a knife to pull it out and flick it open and never really use it as a tool, this one should last a long time.

I bought this knife for my girlfriend. She shows cattle and needed something to cut open feed and haybales when I'm not there for her to use my knife. It is an affordable knife that has many good attributes that I would recommend to most.Not to mention how easy it is for me to sharpen, she's not that advanced on knives like I am, so I have to sharpen it from time to time.
