The KJVER ยฎ (King James Version Easy Read) is โThe Trusted King James in an Easy Read Format.โ ยฎ The King James Version is the most published and printed version of the Bible to this day. No other version has ever matched the beauty of its writing or the depth of its meaning. The King James Version Easy Read (KJVERยฎ) enhances the readability of the classic, beloved KJV by updating some seventeenth-century English words to their twenty-first-century equivalents while maintaining the meaning and integrity of the KJV translation. The KJVERยฎ Bible uses the original 1611 King James Version text (based on the Textus ReceptusโReceived Textโrather than the revised 1881 Greek and Hebrew text). While some of the language of the KJVERยฎ has been updated for the modern reader, it still contains the phrases and words that you grew up with and perhaps even memorized. There are many distinctive features and resources in this KJVERยฎ Sword Bible: Words of God highlighted in red in the Old Testament Words of Jesus highlighted in red in the New Testament Difficult terms underlined and explained at the end of the verse Archaic or obsolete words replaced with their modern equivalents Dictionary/concordance and maps Twelve and a half point, large print type size Review: Great quality - Form the money, this is hard to beat... Good quality and a great bible to gift to others. Printed in Korea, not China. Sewn binding with overcast stitching which is very nice and high quality of lasting and well built bibles. Keep up the great work Whitaker! I prefer the KJV, and this keeps it true to the text without changing any doctrine at all, so its nice for new to KJV people. I would recommend using the KJV, but the KJVER is a nice intro to someone for sure. PS, I do think the print and paper is better in the small version, but this has larger print around a 12 font. Review: Beautiful bible - This bible is what the NKJV is claimed to be only better. I really like the words of the Lord in red in both the old and new testament. I also like the slimline cover.

It is what the New King James was supposed to be!
I have this one and the Study Bible version. This one is a very small bible that is the same size as an iPad mini, except that it is 7/8 of an inch thick. The type is an easy to read 10 point font. My only minor gripe is that the lines are very close together. But that is the price for getting such a small, portable, easy to read bible. The most wonderful thing about KJVER bibles, is that the text the same word for word text as the King James but archaic words are changed to the modern equivalents without changing any meanings of the word of the verse. Even the "thee", "ye", "thou", etc. words are changed to the modern equivalent - but the plural version has a superset "P" to distinguish from the singular you to the plural you (you[p]). This is similar to how it is spoken in the south - "you" and "y'all". There are some words that have not been changed that may be difficult to understand. These words are underlined and have their meanings in a verse footnote on the same page. Rest assured, this is the pure Word of God that has been updated to our modern language. No changes to meanings of the words or verses. No doctrine changes. No missing verses. And no notes that there is a better translation in some Alexandrian text. If you like the King James version, but have struggled with the Elizabethan language, then this is the bible for you. If you found out that verses in the New King James bible has changes in some verses or do not like the disparaging remarks in the footnotes, then this is the bible for you. By the way, the photo of this bible is not very good. So I am uploading some photos that I took of mine. Remember the size is nice and small, it is about 7 3/4 high by 5 1/4 wide by 7/8 inches thick. So don't be put off by the lines that a little jammed together. It is worth it for the portability.

This is the 3rd of these bibles that I have. this one particular bible I bought is to use when I a straight reading thru the Bible. I try to read through at least 2 time a year, and the new Testament 3 or 4 times. This Bible makes the task a delightful journey. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I would have liked to have had the scripture reference in stalled in this one, but for $14.00 this is well worth the money.
