Good size and nice heavy glass. I intend to use them for water carafes when entertaining and will feel very good about having something of this quality on my table.

Nearly perfect, a little bit of sticker residue. First shipment came cracked, so be careful opening - just in case. Otherwise they've been great. Look just like the pictures, great for water, wine, iced tea, etc for the table.

I keep meaning to move away from making my tea in old plastic bottles so here I am. These looked simple and elegant in the pictures and they look even better in person.The only imperfections I found were on the bottom of one of the carafes. It has some scratches/scrapes, likely from getting dragged across a hard surface. It's not that noticeable even when you're looking at it and it's in an inconspicuous spot anyway so I'll let it slide. The rest of the glass is crystal clear.There's some difficult parts like not having a pouring spout and having the neck so as to make cleaning difficult, but this is a pretty traditional and standard design so I'm not about to knock it down for having a normal design that's been executed well.

The first carafe I looked at appeared to be flawless. However, the second carafe had a few minor blemishes or scratches, for which I took off one star. The blemishes are not noticeable unless the carafe is examined carefully up close.The carafes can hold water, juice, wine, or just about anything else, except for hot liquids.All in all, this is a nice set and should impress your friends.

This review is for the Bormioli Rocco Set Of 2 Ypsilon Carafe, 18.5 Oz.I have about two dozen pieces of Bormioli Rocco glassware. Bormioli Rocco makes beautiful products that are also functional. I do wish these Ypsilon carafes had come with stoppers, but I knew they did not before I ordered them.My intended application is for almond milk, for which I currently use Bormioli Rocco lidded canning jars. But first I will need to improvise a stopper for the Ypsilon carafes. I think a cork stopper would do nicely. The carafes are pretty. The carafes are also heavy and could serve as a vase for flowers. Five stars.

I absolutely love these glass carafe's. Such great quality and just a nice finishing touch to a table setting. Nice thick glass, dishwasher safe and just couldn't be happier. Love the look on a table, super happy with this purchase and these would make a great gift since this is something not everybody has or would think to get for themselves! Very happy with this purchase!!

These carafes have a simple, yet elegant look to them. The glass is pretty and has a nice thick base. The neck of the carafe is good for griping, and it does not leak or drip, despite not having a spout from which to pour. These are good for serving milk, juice, water, or other drinks from. We've found that having 2 of these is helpful for our long dining table.
