Nicely laid out with English and French on the same page. The illustrations helped with understanding the content on each page. I read it with my 7 year old granddaughter who is in a French immersion program at her school. She read the English and I read the French. Pretty soon she will be reading the French, but this book was very helpful for her entry level skills.

Great selection

The picture quality of this book is terrible. Also, the book is all about a girl who has a secret (secrets are not allowed in our house). Her secret ends up being her dolphin friend, but I honestly don’t like the message the book sends and as mentioned, the quality is not good. Save yourself the money and hit up your local library...

My daughter (French immersion, grade 1) enjoyed this book since I could read one set of text (English or French) and she could read the other. She enjoyed the story and pictures, although it lacked some of this subtle references or humour that help keep a book tolerable for the parents who have to read them with their children.
