I bought this in hopes of a quality replacement for a cheap holder that originally came with our shower set. From its heavy duty brass mounts to oversized wall screws, this product over delivered. The components on the functional side are smooth and high quality as well.

This slide bar is the real deal, great materials and design. Would buy again in a minute. My problem is I thought I was to get mounting hardware and ceramic drill with this, but wasn't in the box, but not a big deal, I called them at their 800 number, and they said they have hardware bags in stock at Amazon, and they would be sent right out. Great product and support, rather rare these days. I hope they come out with matching grab bars soon.

I scoured the listing for any information about the size of the showerhead holder. Finding none, I decided to buy and see if it fit my kids' showerhead, a Waterpik brand. Nope. Nor did it well-fit our other showerhead (brand unknown), seating only about half way. While it's probably difficult to make a product that fits every showerhead (why this part isn't standard size I don't know), it might be worth having one or two more swappable parts that would better fit the most common heads, and give the consumer a better chance of good fit. Having just one risks poor fitment and not a "universal" product.That said, the build quality does appear very good. Finish felt significantly well applied, and brass components will do well for long-term durability. Such a shame it doesn't suit my needs in terms of size.For anyone needing to know the actual size of the openings on the holder (which really should have been listed), they are 22.5 mm (wider end) and 20.8 mm (narrower end). I would strongly encourage the listing be updated with this information to reduce returns.

This is the bar you are looking for.... I shopped around and looked at and returned others. This one is a bit oversize in length (27") which is what I needed to help match up the holes on my existing shower. More importantly, It allows you to easily adjust the width of each mount so you can cover or reuse the existing mounting holes. Top quality hardware. You will not be disappointed. I drilled 6 holes in cement with a hammer drill and used my own cement screws. Much better than all the plastic junk that is out there.

It wasn't cheap plastic. I have a tenant that breaks things. They will have to work very hard to break this!

Well made all metal handheld bar nice heavy which was What I was looking for so it can last a long time to comeI had purchased others that were all plastic and when a piece breaks off u must change the whole thing so i wanted something in metal not plastic and this was it definitely recommended this product

Putting it into a flat tiled wall, it would be great. For an acrylic surround, it is a pain, but doable. (Super handy helper, though).For the acrylic surround use, required longer screws, countersinking the screws, and some additional drilling (into the bar) and modification. Pros: overall, it is a big improvement for my mom, who otherwise allows the handheld to dangle! Second, looks great with the shower head/handheld I ordered from them. Mom is 4'10" and this allows her to easily access the handheld and have a shower with ease at her height. Happy, just hadn't thought through the modifications and thought I'd share.

Just received this HammerHead Shower all metal shower slide bar and it looks beautiful and sturdy, but the packaging was so beat up and dirty when it arrived! It was also loosely taped and the box has tears--and the screws and anchors and allen wrench are missing. Amazon's customer service options don't have a way to request replacements so I'll be calling the HammerHead Showers people (after I register the product online).

So far so good, super happy about it. Solid quality, not plastic!
