Amazing star musicians don't always blend to produce great performances but this works despite the fact that it's country/rock/soul/reggae/jazz and the reason it isn't a disconnected hotchpotch is because Willie Nelson has control and guides everything and everybody in his way without overshadowing the proceedings. This is some feat considering the calibre of the guests! Willie showed what a great musician he is by keeping it his show while bringing out the best in everyone else. Standout performances for me were Joe Walshe and Toby Keith but there were no low spots except for Keith Richards unbuttoned shirt! A really entertaining concert with top performers havin a good time themselves

Outlaws and Angels is a great album by legends of music

It was a well appreciated gift from me

having just read k. richards autobiog 'life' (well worth the read) .........i wanted to extend the experience,so bought this, my 'liking' extended to willie nelson and most of the others on the dvd....so it became a 'no lose' situation.Really Enjoyed It..............! there's only one keith richards, he's a bugger and a half ....... !!

As expected a 10/10 cd,nothing else to add.😄

this is the work of a jack of all styles and a master of them all, i liked SOME of the artists included here like toby keith and lucinda williams, some did NOTHING for me.
