not really matte black
bummer. i was super excited for this faucet in my newly remodeled bath with all matte black hardware. there were customer comments where they said it was black but unfortunately this/mine is oil rubbed bronze. most people probably won't notice but i can definitely see that it is brownish in hue compared to the other fixtures and has some rubbed-off areas where bronze is showing through. will probably replace in the future but for now having to live with it.

Nice, but...
This faucet is very nice and seems good quality. We have now had it installed over a year and it works well. However, when we turn o the hot water, it comes out brown for a few seconds and the cold water comes out smelling like metal. Some sort of obvious rust is happening on the inside. Kind of scary to think of what type of materials it's made of. Country of origin was China.

Poor quality product received not as advertised.
The product arrived damaged and unusable. The description stated the color was black, but the actual product received was oil- rubbed bronze.
