I bought these for a trip to Alaska in the fall. It was an extra rainy season for Alaska this year and these covers kept my shoes dry for a couple of days. When I went to the State Fair, walking on asphalt paths, the bottoms of the covers got small torn spots in them, causing the water to puddle under my foot and soak my tennis shoes and my socks. So, my review for them keeping my feet dry on grassy ground is terrific! My friends who were with me were getting super wet. However, the silicone won't hold up walking on rough surfaces. I don't want to give a bad review because I really liked them until then.

I bought these for a costume and wanted them birght yellow like the picture. Not even close. They may also be transparent if wearing a dark shoe underneath.

The length of the XL is good for a men’s size 12. The length of the L is a little bit long for a women’s 7. Both covers have an odd fit at the heel where material does not hug the heel of the shoe. Also, the opening is not snug enough to keep a strong rain out around your ankles. It will protect the rest of your shoe from getting soggy. (Not a deal breaker, but the clear is far more white than clear.)

I found these to be difficult to get on and off. So,I just purchased a pair of good of water proof sneakers for walking in damp areas around our property.

They tore the first time I used them

I have tried the rain shoe coverups just once. I ordered a size larger so that it would have enough stretch. I tried them over sneakers and it was a little tough but it worked.

Good to include in your travel list, good in protecting your shoes while traveling, easy to pack.

Received but haven't used the boots yet. They seem to be good and plan on taking them on vacation.
