Please Note that the Scanner in the Images is my own, and is NOT offered in this Auction. It is there for demonstration supposes only… am a proud owner of a 3500xlt and I do try to take good care it. But I get frustrated when using it with other longer antennas. It gets a little top heavy and has a tendency to want to topple over ! I’ve used it with an external antenna too, but the weight of the coax can pull it over. So I lay it down on my desk which is not best angle to view the screen, and it slides around on that button/belt clip thingy on its back! So I Designed this Stand and had it Printed… This is Version 2

Perfect Stand.
When i bought this I was a bit unsure about it, but it is absolutely perfect.The stand is well balanced with a little storage bay behind the radio for any small adapters if needed.The only thing I did was put 4 anti slip clear rubber pads on it as it slips a bit when I push the buttons on my kitchen counter or office desk, however, they are really cheap and work well.High praise for the designer of this, it was a welcome add on for my AOR 8200 Mk3, and is also perfectly angled, and very well made. Well worth the money.
