This is so great. My kiddos love this. You do have to place all of the Velcro pieces yourself but other than that it’s great

We have a few of these books. This one is one of the better ones we have. The Velcro works really well and holds the pieces in place. The pages all have understandable themes like abc’s, months of the year, body parts, weather, animals. It takes about an hour of work for the parent to put Velcro on the pieces and the book and putting the pieces in the proper place. The pages are bright and colorful and the print is clear. My son likes to play with this busy book and put the pieces back in the proper place. It is a good one and has a lot for your child to learn inside.

My wife is a kindergarten teacher who works with the higher needs children. She teaches inner city, so many of her kids may not stay in her classroom once they get evaluated. Lower income families have a lower likelihood of having their special needs children tested at a younger age. Many don't attend preschool. My wife's classroom is where they are first experiencing school and getting evaluated. She currently has a very high need boy, who most definitely will not be in her classroom by the end of the year. Unfortunately, these things take time. She has to teach him to the best of her abilities, while still providing for the other twenty-some children in her classroom. This busy book is great. It gives him something to do, so that she can also make sure that she is also teaching the other children. She gives him plenty of attention, but as anyone who works with special needs children or has a special needs child, they take a lot of attention. This is not an educational substitute, but it is an educational tool, otherwise he runs out of the classroom. My wife has another high needs little girl, who has on more than one occasion stripped when acting out. We plan to order more of these types of books. Once again, this is not a substitute, but it can be used as a tool for special needs children. It calms him down and helps him focus.

This book is perfect for keeping your toddler busy in a restaurant, car, plane … virtually anywhere. The kit comes with a nice bag to keep all the pieces in and it is easy to zip and unzip, even for small hands. The pages are durable and put together with a spiral binding. There are several activities and themes which is sure to make every kid excited to learn. The set up takes a little time, but not too bad if you plan ahead. The Velcro sticks well to the book and pieces, yet is easy for kids to take apart (you might want to show your child how to take the pieces off the right way so they don’t bend them.) There is a tracing page for each theme with included markers that have erasers on the back. This is a great find!

My 4 year old son loves this book and loves doing the matching and drawing. It is a fun activity that we can do together and he can play with it alone as well. I love how educational it is and with all the bright colors and different activities it keeps him engaged. The quality is good but I wish the pieces were laminated with something thick as the pieces tend to bend easily. It is still an amazing busy book though!

This Busy Book has tons of activities and is relatively easy for the kids to use. You will need to velcro all the pieces before handing over to your kids. Would be great in a car ride or at church to occupy the kids. Would also be great for a center area in a classroom or child care center. The edges of a couple pages are already starting to bend.
