Boring storyline
Do cartoonists get writer's block? This is the worst Curious George book I've read in my life. Daughter was completely bored too. The book only explores the dragon, nothing else unique to the festival.Try Peppa's Chinese New Year, or Lunar New Year by Hannah Eliot. Both explore multiple aspects: the lanterns, fireworks, food, people, beliefs, customs, stories.

prefect for introducing Pre-K to Chinese new year traditions!
This was a fantastic book to help me teach my child's pre-K class about Chinese new year and its traditions! The story kept the kids' interest and the familiarity of George helped them be comfortable with learning new ideas.Would definitely recommend this book for other parents hoping to introduce their pre-k child to Chinese new year traditions!

Really good Curious George book
Really good book. Our 3 year old daughter really likes reading this one around before school. It's almost Chinese New Year so thought it was a good way to discuss the holiday.
