I got this drone for my 9 year old son who is showing an interest in drones. This seemed like a good place to start as the rice was right and you seemed to get a lot for your money here.The drone is small and light and the controls are also quite small so easy for my son to hold.The drone can be connected to a phone and controlled via the phone also and you can view and download footage from the drone camera straight to your phone.Flying the drone doesn’t take that long to get the hang of and there are some good pre set settings to get you going.Battery life is as advertised and the recharge times are nice and quick too.The drone comes in a nice carry case that keeps everything safe and secure.My some is very happy with this drone and loves flying it so it’s 5 stars from me.So good points about the drone are:Compact and lightweightGood solid build qualityVery durableGood battery lifeGood image quality

Ok, well packaged and comes with a very nice case that is big enough to store drone, extra batteries and all the bits you get with it, I've had the drone for nearly a month and flown it almost every day, weather permitting, fun to fly once you get used to it, however, downside is the terrible instructions, the Chinese to English translation is at best abysmal, because of this it is not easy to set up drone to fly safely without any fly aways, DON'T expect or even attempt to fly it straight out of the box, carefully decipher the instructions first and understand them, I have an iPhone 14 and my grandson has a iPhone X they both connect to app with no problems, I would recommend beginners to use the one button take off and get used to the controls at the take off hover height, the remote is pretty straight forward as is the phone app, again once instructions are deciphered, video and stills are ok ish but you need a good bright day to get any useful publishable shots, biggest gripe I have is one of the batteries has decided not to hold it's charge any longer than a 5 minute flight and it takes well over 90 + minutes to recharge, the other one is fine and gives about 20 minutes fly time, the only way it seems I can get a replacement battery is to send the whole lot back to Amazon as there is no way to contact Obest and get a replacement battery or any spare parts if you break anything, oddly all the spars are listed in the instructions but not how to purchase them, overall it is fun to fly and you can get some good aerial shots, beware flying it around birds of prey territory, my last drone got destroyed by a Buzzard, I would recommend,

This neat little done is a small, light drone perfect for newbies. It's easy to carry and easy to fly. Despite its size, it flies steadily. I would say its affordable, great for those on a budget. For me, I would say its a great pick for beginners who want a low-cost, hassle-free drone experience.

Have not tried it yet but looks excellent for the price have had their products before but they all seem pretty good

First time we used it, the controls didn't work. It lifted off the ground, I moved it to the side gently and then it moved very fast. I used the controller to change the direction but it was unresponsive and flew into a tree and broke. The tree was 30 yards away! I requested a refund but have not had a response from the seller, this was 6 weeks ago!

Will update with more info once used. This is not ~500g it is sub 250g which means fewer restrictions regarding where it can be flown in the UK.

I got this drone today. The remote works ok. But the network the drone shows on my iPhone 10 and Samsung phones won't connect. Keep getting the "can not connect to this network" message. Spent hours trying all kinds of setting, but nope. Can not connect to the drone network. Googled for help on the subject, but none of the solutions work. I will have to return it, because without it connecting to my phone, I will not be able to use the camera.

I have taken the drone out around my village and down the beach. I found the drone easy to connect to the phone when played around with for a bit and very lightweight. Great for beginners like myself as it is easy to set up and can see where its location is on my phone, perfect for wooded areas. Definitely reccomend for a first time drone user or a child.
