I hung two Joydeco blackout curtains I bought from Amazon from this pole to separate the downstairs area of my place from the upper living area and-it did the job. I got it to adjust perfectly, just like pictured above, with ease and it’s holding the two curtains in place beautifully. I got the thicker product because I needed the width and strength to hold the two thick curtains and I’d only wished I’d thought to do this sooner. It looks great, does the job and blends right in beautifully with the navy and dark grey (I went for two different colored curtains and it’s even more attractive with all the blue/grey tones in my place). The thickness was perfect but it also just blends/fades into the background like it should. It’s strong, functional and a great price (it saved me the money and hassle of a curtain rod and it’s more efficient).

Easy to install

I’m actually using this for a regular curtain rod to spam the distance between two walls to help with heat retention in my home and it is sturdy enough to hold a winter insulated curtain both panels in place. I’m surprised at how well this works.

This tension curtain rod looks nice and has held up well. It's super easy to install. The curtain slides really smoothly over the joint of the curtain rod.

I ordered the 1 piece rod for 28-48 inches and received the 3 piece rod for 28 to 48 inches. I tried to put it up using 2 pieces which was enough to stretch the 30.5" I needed. I followed the instructions to hold it at a 30 degree angle and open/turn it to extend it, then lower it to the correct position it so that it is tight. Every time I tried to position it, it would twist back, lose the tension and fall down. Also, as other reviewers have talked about, I can see how it might not fit all the possible lengths between 28 and 48 inches as you get 3 pieces, 2 of which are a set length. Don't buy this.

This is a very nice curtain rail. It is very lightweight but looks good when up. Very easy to fit using the instructions, I didn’t think I needed them, but I was going to do it wrong, which would have been a very bad idea! I definitely recommend this for probably any type of curtain. It feels very sturdy. Ideal for doorways with a thermal curtain to stop draughts.

Great, really simple to use and sturdy once its put up. Good quality and good value for money. Weve used it to put up a curtain at the front door and its not budged.
