Great head unit
Finally got it installed. My second ATOTO head unit. Sounds great, fast start up and CarPlay connect. Screen looks great. Probably going to by another for my son's car. Highly recommend if your looking to upgrade.

It just works.
I haven't had the chance to install a backup camera yet, so I can't speak to that subject but the stereo itself is great. Everything works like you would expect and everything is clearly labeled to help with installation. Im happy woth my purchase and would buy another atoto stereo without hesitation.

Easy to install, packed with features and carplay worked instantly!
This unit was extremely easy to install, the screen Is compact and you have plenty of room to work with, made installation a breeze. It comes with a ton of features and the 4G is a nice feature to have even when you may never really need it, I can see it coming in handy when you least expect it. It booted up super fast and only took a few seconds after connecting via my iPhone cable to setup CarPlay mode. On some Android models this can be an absolute pain and you need to add interfaces, but this is built in to the unit and booted right into CarPlay. If you have steering wheel controls, you might need an interface for that, unless your vehicle has the simple two wire setup. It took me about an hour and a half to install and that was taking my time. If it’s a newer vehicle you may need a CanBus interface. I already have one on my truck so I plugged it in and it worked just fine. For the price you pay I would say it’s worth it, it’s a quick unit and is very easy to use!

UPDATE: Love it, but AT&T will not work
UPDATE 2 more weeks later: The talksim prepaid sim card worked to give me LTE data on t-mobile. The APNs auto populated from the SIM card. And the atoto worked as a wifi hotspot. So, if you are on t-mobile or get a sim that uses t-mobile, then you can get LTE data. It's a wonderful device. I can use android auto. We just did a trip and used carplay with my wife's iPhone. And the kids can connect their tablets over bluetooth to share music. I have the steering wheel controls how I want them on a 2004 silverado. And I have the USB in the glove box with a high capacity thumbdrive with my mp3s. It's kind of amazing what you get for the price point. UPDATE 2 weeks later: I ended up re-ordering this radio after trying some other head units. It's nice and having full android with app store is great. That said, it will NOT WORK WITH AT&T subscriptions. The IMEI says "unsupported device" on AT&T's site. I tried swapping a sim card from a tablet into the atoto and setting up the APNs, but I could only get bars and never data. Further, AT&T flagged that sim and blocked its data. So, I had to call them to get my old tablet unblocked and back on the network. There are preset APNs for T-Mobile and the T-Mobile site says "partially supported." So, T-mobile might work. I'm trying a prepaid SIM card from TalkSim (ASIN B0D73RG84F). I'll keep trying to get the radio on the cellular network. But even in the absence of that data connection, I really like it as a head unit. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I wanted this to work SO SO bad. It's a really nice device. The flaw for me is you cannot add APNs and hence cannot get a cellular data connection. Problem 1: AT&T does not recognize the IMEI as being supported (on website and in a store). That's fine I can use an old or fake IMEI to get a sim card and manually add an APN. That's solvable. Problem 2: The settings are really buggy and the APNs do not persist. I put in an AT&T sim card and got the 4G and bars icons, but without the right APN there is no data. I tried using an AT&T APN from another AT&T tablet and the APN from the AT&T documentation. They would never stay in the settings, even after reboots and various methods of adding. In North America (USA) If you are on T-Mobile there are default configurations in the APN settings. I tried a lot of angles. It will probably work on T-Mobile out of the box. If you have another carrier like AT&T or Verizon that is not in the default APNs list, you will not be able to add the APNs to get a data connection. I worked with Atoto support via there website and they were very responsive within the constraints of timezones. I gave them all the technical details about the bugs and carrier bands. Hopefully, they fix this with a firmware update.

DO NOT BUY - you've been warned
Update: It is stuck in a factory reset loop. Completely unusable at 14 months. Finding support or firmware since it's not OTA updatable, is near impossible. It's not on the site or the warranty and updates pages. It was never great, you never knew if it would connect to your phone or how. It has a lot of bloatware you cannot get off of it. And CarPlay is a major after thought. DO NOT buy this if you want CarPlay, go with a more reputable brand. I self installed this paired with the atoto amp. The installation was fairly easy. I did need to buy a scoche adapter and make some connections, which again were easy and provided a bit more room to maneuver. For the money it's a decent CarPlay android unit. Is it awesome, no. The connectivity is wonky and drops often. Connecting it to wifi is near impossible and tethering a phone to it has been impossible as well. The atoto dash cam is a decent add on but takes up the only data cable you have, but, it doesn't seem to work for data from a phone for music or anything anyway. Again another connectivity issue. Music drops often due to this issue. The screen is plenty bright and the touch sensitivity is fine. If I knew which model would have provided a more stable connection either physically or wireless I would go that route. Can't say I would buy again,, probably wouldn't.
