Excellent quality, can be a bit tricky to use, but it really does work well, does what it says on the box!

A bit awkward to separate but a quality product

because of that, and seeing the reviews AFTER buying it, I opened and checked it the moment it arrived. I can absolutely see how some have based their poor reviews on the two part roll not separating, because I struggled a lot, and the backing paper tore into strips without separating from the tacky repair tape, but somehow with perseverence it did suddenly separate easily and can now be pulled from the box, separating as it goes (using the fold back tape-separating-box design. It's now easy to pull out any amount needed without faff! I hope this may help anyone who has this and feels the tape is unworkable. I have also stuck it to some fragile paper, and it's very gentle but holds the delicate paper sufficiently well. Dropped one star because it wasn't easy to get going, and that has put off other people.

It appears to work well for document repairs, and even books, but only time will tell . Do read the instructions.

Purchased this to repair a book.. It did an ok job but doesn't go transparent like real japanese tissue, more translucent. It worked well enough for my needs but would not be good if applied over text or images
