original worn cane tip would slip out nearly causing me to fall. at 82, i don't bounce well. the replacements are as good as the originals

These are terrible. They disintegrated within one week. The bottom rubber piece wore off, exposing the metal underneath. The crutch then became slippery - very dangerous.

These are the correct size for Carex canes and work out great to keep a person from slipping while having to walk with a cane.

Updated: 2023-07-07Received the Cane tips on July 24th, 2023. Installed a new tip that day.Sadly the tip only lasted until today. Included is two pictures. One un-used tip and one that wore out as of today. The side of it split. Because of this, I have dropped it from 5 stars to 4 stars due to lack of durability.This has me a bit disappointed as the rubber needs to be made a bit stronger. When I get a good cane tip, they usually last me like 4 to 6 months before I change them. Like the difference between soft and hard tires. Soft tires wear out faster than tires that are harder which is why there are different synthetic rubber blends out.Original Review:Buying replacement cane tips can be quite the hassle as you never know what you're going to get.I've gone through plenty of can tips over the last 16 to 17 years now and I find that I tend to wear them out. Thin, narrow tips tend to wear the fastest. The ones I like using are Fat and extra thick. In other words, they're heavy duty.This brand appears to fill my requirements. They stay on better, last longer and have a better gripping surface cause of the extra width.I ordered two packages of these to last me awhile. Should I need to order more, I can just refer back to my order history and I hope that in the future, they are still the same ones as I ordered this time.Otherwise if this vendor ever changes to something less durable, then I won't be very happy and I'll have to search for another vendor.

I use cane tips on an outdoor work stool in my garden. These tips are much thicker than the ones I bought a couple of years ago from a major hardware store. I expect them to last longer.
