Autumn Poems: New and Selected Paperback – Import, 21 February 2023

The poetry I love most is the kind that grows with me, read time and again at different points in life and speaks to me in ways relating to where I am at that moment. This has proven to be one of those collections. I first read it in the Fall of last year, and enjoyed the relaxing, descriptive images, made sweeter as a local, familiar with the places in the poems. A lot has happened since last Fall, my life has changed, and as I read it again, there is a deeper meaning unfolding. The warmth and glow of autumn that was the main focus of my first time read, has moved over to reflections on surrender, dying, and, more importantly, Hope.

This book is the cutest book, I absolutely love fall, and the writing is absolutely exquisite, when I read this book, I imagine it fall everyday, imagery is wonderful!
