I've never done origami. I can tell you it's thicker than regular tissue paper and the color is more saturated. Cannot see through it.

I don't know the weight, but it is heavier than I thought it would be.

Q: What is it made out of?

It's stronger than any other tissue paper I have ever purchased. Really good quality. I don't know exactly what it is made of. Usually wood pulp. I was very happy with it.

Q: Does this bleed if in contact with water?

I used the paper to make flowers and so never had them in contact with water. I did use hot glue on them and it did not appear to bleed then
