102mm Hole Saw Drill Bit for Metal and Wood, 4 inch HSS Bi-Metal Hole Cutter with cutting Depth of 40mm for Punching Circular Holes on Ceiling Board, Acrylic Panel, Plate Steel and Sheet Iron

Used for cutting wood rather than metal but a well made and effective tool that quickly made neat and accurate holes for ventilation vents.

Cut through the wood without any problems at all. The spring part did break off, but this didn't effect the cutting performance.

This cutter was much better than the one I had been using. Original cutter only relied on threads alone to retain it on the shaft which didn’t last long. The threads stripped and rotating cutter spun on the shaft, poor idea. This cutter that I am reviewing uses two pins as well as the threaded shaft that lock into the cutter. A fitment I have seen used on more expensive hole cutters. Excellent idea and cut the hole I required with ease.

Well designed. No assembly instructions but easy to work out. Processed refund for returned (smaller) unused unit quickly. For my 2 inch flexible ribbed pipe needed the 2.25 inch cutter to allow fit (still tight but was correct for that construction of pipe)

Worked perfectly, cut through my work surface easily for my pop up plug socket. Highly recommended.

Hole-saw works perfectly fine, but the arbour that is supplied is for a hole-saw up to 25mm(depending on manufacturer). Thankfully I had the bigger arbour I could use so the hole-saw doesn’t get jammed in the arbour provided
