Too hard for kids!
Such a cute idea. However way too complicated. We could not get any to work. You need two adults to try and hold the parts together, kids cannot blow them up. It’s nearly impossible to make one! In fact we attempted 7 times and were unsuccessful each time. I would not waste your money!!

Difficult to put together
Very difficult even for adults. Followed the instructions and it was hard. My daughter was very disappointed. Maybe this product was not for us.

This is an advanced project
Wow, these are not easy to make. They look so yummy with the little flakies and glitter inside, I'm determined to make one. The tape is so sticky, it's hard to keep the center from sticking to itself before I can blow it up. Even with so much adhesive power, I find it impossible to avoid holes in the seams so I end up blowing in air only to get hit in the face with my own breath backwash. The kit comes in a plastic bag that isn't useful for storing the items once opened as it's that brittle plastic that tears easily. I wish it was a better, reusable bag and not the brittle plastic that it is.I really like that so many of the bead kits from China come in storage container with individual compartments but this one was opened and the contents spilled in the plastic bag. It doesn't ruin the kit but it made a mess and now everything that was in the 3 open containers is a mixed up mess. TheThe kit is advertised as containing "glitter" but it doesn't come with traditional sparkly, reflective, plastic glitter but rather what I would compare to a sequin (without a hole); the plastic confetti you would see in a shaker card- small snowflakes, butterflies, "cake sprinkles", tiny fruit slices etc.The "balloon" is made by folding the tape over itself, trapping whatever contents you've added in the center. You blow into the center with a straw or a balloon pump, inflating the balloon with the confetti inside. I suspect some fine-grade glitter would help keep the tape from sticking to itself in the center thus allowing the balloon to be filled with air.The kit comes with several straws, two sets of cheap plastic tweezers, reasonable written/picture directions, and a balloon pump. I haven't used the pump- I find it easy enough to blow up the "balloon" using a straw and my own breath once I remove the plastic protective layer and heat the tape with a hair dryer for 20 seconds or so but it does say that with the pump you don't need to use the hair dryer to heat it up.I'm determined to make these work- I plan to find a video...there is always a video.I'm just putting two and two together- I think the tweezers might be useful for clamping the seams shut since the product description calls them "clamps". They are definitely useful for placing the plastic "glitter" pieces onto the tape since you want to keep it away from the edges in order to get a good seal.

First time nano tape user
My daughter watched videos online using nano tape and wanted to try using it. This is our very first time using nano tape or anything like it. As a first time user, this was a nice first kit! It came with plenty of tape and a lot of accessories to customize the nano bubbles. Was it easy? No- there is definitely a learning curve making nano bubbles. But I didn’t see this marketed as an easy to do craft so I can’t fault it for that. The directions were vague- watching a YouTube video on nano tape with tips really helped. My daughter enjoying making the bubbles and the next time we use them I’m sure it will be easier. I did see online that using a metal straw makes things easier- it does. That would be the one thing I’d switch out in this kit- using your own straw instead is the plastic ones provided. This is a good starter nano tape kit. It helps online to watch videos before trying this craft. You also need a hair dryer to heat the tape. A good introduction into nano tape.

Fun kit
My kids (4 & 8) are obsessed with nano tape bubbles, so we have used several kits. This one is fun, with cute stickers and glitter/confetti, but overall is not the best value when it comes to nano tape bubble kits.If you've never made nano tape bubbles before, take some time to watch videos online with tips and tricks - it really helps a lot. We've found pumps to be easier to use than the straws, but that may be a matter of personal preference. Since they have a lot of practice, my 8 year old can use this kit unassisted, but my 4 year old still needs some help.Pros:The tape is not as sticky as some other rolls we've received, so it is actually easier to work with. The tape did not have a strong odor, unlike others we've used in the past. The storage container for the glitter/confetti is very nice, with each compartment opening individually.Cons:The rolls of tape in this kit (left roll in photo) are much smaller than those we've received in other kits (right roll, but at least half used). The pump in this kit, while objectively sturdier and nicer than the one from our previous kit, is harder to use because the tip is "chunkier" which makes it hard to get a good seal around it. The thinner tip of our other pump is much easier to use and to pull out once you're done inflating.Overall, not a bad kit, but there are better options out there.
