I use this on my desk and for light duty around the house. It has held my fully loaded heavy 32oz rambler without sweat. I'd imagine it would work with bigger cups in 'low impact' applications and could hold 12 oz cans in 'higher impact/vibration' applications.This product is ideal for home applications, musicians (think music stand so long as you don't need the whole stand for music sheets), and slow-moving boats. You might want to reconsider if you have a vibrating tractor/mower or a speeding boat on plane. I'm not saying it wouldn't work, BUT you gotta take it at your own risk and factor into if you think you can get value out of this if it DOESN'T work the way you first intended. Best cup holder I've found for a wheelchair yet. My cousin's chair requires the arm rests being removed in order to get him in & out of his chair everyday. So anything that clips or mounts onto bars becomes a hassle for caregivers, since it's extra work for an already timely process. This magnet is fast, sturdy, & quite impressive.The cup is deep enough for his tall 24 oz water bottle & easily fits a 12 oz soda as well. My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the inside pieces don't seem to actually do much with a full drink in place, they simply flatten against the sides. No big deal with his application but doubtful they'd grip a drink if this was attached to a motorcycle or bicycle, flying over hills.Regardless, I do recommend it & think it'd make a nice gift. Feels built to last, nice weight. Nothing cheap about it, aside from the thin inner grips but you've been warned. Smile. Hope this helps someone.

The media could not be loaded.  Yup, this one is recommended y'all! I ordered this with one specific bottle in mind. My YETI Rambler 36 ounce is a bigger bottle and even my Rambler 26 ounce will not fit in other magnetic cup holders I have ordered in the past. I saw this one and had to order it immediately. I love it when a plan comes together! This one fits the 26 ounce straight out of the box and it will fit my biggest, most favorite bottle, the 36 oz, with minor modification. All I had to do was pull out 3 of the 4, or all 4 of the rubber fingers from the inside of the unit and the big bottle fits! I don't care about a little rattling. I'm OK with the rattling if it means I can actually use this with my big bottle. The rubber fingers are easy enough to get back inserted if you were to change drinkware and wanted them back in. The entire thing is made of metal so it should last nearly forever with normal use and the magnet is strong enough to hold my 36 oz bottle weight, with 36 ounces of liquid in it and not fall off and not needing to be gentle with it to keep it stuck where its stuck.100% loving this thing and I'm so happy that I have a cup holder for my bigger bottles now. I wholeheartedly recommend this one if you want the same scenario in your life. This is the biggest magnetic cup holder I have seen so if you have the big Rambler and you want a magnetic cup holder then this is the one because you are not going to do any better than this at the time of this review. Worth every penny and price is on par with other similar units of this construction but are smaller. Buy one! Mine is AWESOME!

The cup holder itself is large enough to hold a very large cup. The quality is exceptional and it looks great. Although sucha large cup full of fluid is too much for the magnets to hold so its best to find a spot why the bottom can rest against something to help hold it up. Otherwise it's a great addition to running my heavy equipment when there's nowhere to set my coffee!

Handy cup holder with a sufficiently strong magnet. It’s a rather large size so a variety of cups will fit inside. There are these rubber fins on the inside rim to keep a cup snug, but I think they are more annoying than helpful as the stick out in the outer side. I might pull those off as I’m not sure they really add value, but other than that, this is pretty handy to have in my garage.

The single magnet is not strong enough to hole the cup holder to my tractor while I am bouncing down the field. When I went over rough patches the tractor would bounce and the cupholder would come loose and fall off from the vertical fender. When I placed it on the side floorboard with the magnet on the fender it would stay in place ( photo 2 ). It is large enough to hold a medium drink or bottle but the weight is too much for the single magnet. It is expensive and does not work that well for me. I would not order it again.
