The spec says 240v but it says 230v on the bulb - what are these bulbs please? I'm wanting it for my daughter's lamp. Thank you

I'm no an electrician but my understanding is that voltage in a power supply is not constant and naturally fluctuates and often electrical equipment is marked 220-240v which tends to indicate that there is a margin to 'play' with. I have a nominally 240v supply and the bulb works without problem.

To avoid guess work,I removed the old bulb by unscrewing the cover and pulling the bulb towards me straight out, read the info on the bulb and looked in Amazon for a direct replacement,since the bulbs listed are by type number and NOT by model of appliance they fit.

how do you get old bulb out. Pull? Unscrew? I am loath to purchase a replacement until I can get the faulty one out.

The glass cup light cover turns (Screws) anti-clockwise on our oven (which maybe opposite on your oven). On removal of the glass lamp cover the lamp should just pull out. To replace new bulb, I would hold the bulb between a paper towel so not to touch the lamp with you fingers as these are halogen bulbs. Once fixed in place I would wipe the new lamp with methylated spirit before screwing lamp cover back into place. Job done.
