No, they are not bone dry after being heated. Well, they are technically dry, but the towels do feel like they were heated with some humidity in the air. They aren't damp, but they do feel a touch moist. I don't mind it, but if you want something that leaves your towels like they just came out of a hot dryer, you should look at other products.
