Order Extra Than Needed
I needed 12 of these for a Star Wars Blue and Gold Cub Scout Banquet. I ordered two sets (20 total) and it was perfect. We blew them up a few hours before the event and over-inflated them, as a reviewer suggested. It worked well. One or two had obvious holes in them when we started, and by the time we had the event a few hours later, a couple more had deflated. So out of the 20 I got, 16 of them were usable. But I would definitely recommend them as a party favor/prop. I did a similar event three years ago and crafted light sabers from pool noodles and it was extra work, about the same cost, and the end result didn't look as good as these inflatable ones. They look cool because the light shines through them a little like a balloon and they are way better shaped than pool noodles. Would totally purchase these again--just buy some extra in case some have holes!

Buy them!!
I was a little cautious in buying these after reading some of the negative reviews, but I'm so glad I did. All of them held air, there were no holes, they were sturdy when filled enough. They are still fully inflated 5 days later. My kids loved them and they were an absolute hit at my son's Star Wars party.

Review After B'Day Party
We bought these for a Star Wars themed birthday party. The kids beat the heck out of each other with them, and they generally worked great. We *did* have to occasionally reinflate a couple of them, but I do not think it's a design flaw. They're inflatable lightsabers. Kids hit each other with them. Goes with the territory. Here's my best tip (courtesy of someone else's review). Use a balloon pump and *seriously* over-inflate them. I was a little worried about popping them, but I never pushed them quite that far. Once they were seriously inflated, the fill nozzle would lock to keep air from escaping. Generally they worked great after that. (Several weeks later, one in my daughter's room is still holding up strong.)So I think these are worth a solid four-star review. Not flawless, but good for what they are.

Didn’t work as I’d hoped
My plan was to use these in our Star Wars Day at school. The children were using them to swing at bubbles from the bubble machine. A bunch of them would not hold air. The ones that could worked fine.

Big hit!!
These were great!! The kids (age 5) absolutely loved them.I used an air station/electric pump to blow them up and the valves stuck great. They do not work well if you manually blow them up.I bought 5 packs of 10 and only had two deflate between Friday morning and party on Sunday. A handful of lightsabers deflated upon use but the kids may have pulled the stopper out or been very rough with them.I was worried because of the mixed reviews, but they were great and I would recommend them. Buy a few extra in case some deflate during the party.

Perfect for Dueling
These lightsabers are perfect for teaching Romeo and Juliet. I put my students in groups of 3, handed each group 2 sabers, and had them read Mercutio’s death scene. Wirjed perfectly.

Great when they are actually inflated.
Bought this for my child's birthday party but only a few of them actually stayed inflated which was unfortunate when half the kids were left with out one. All of the purple and yellow light sabers deflated right away, other's did after a little bit of use but we did have a few that actually stayed inflated the whole time. The kids really liked the ones that worked! It's possible we got a bad batch but i wouldn't buy these again.

Not All lighstabers are created equal
They look just like other ones I have ordered from another vendor but had new colors so I was excited (for my kids, mostly). The last ones lived for a long time, essentially until the big kids came over to play (a little rougher than my 3,6 yo.)I blew up 5 of them. 1 wouldn't keep air for even a minute and 1 worked as expected. Others would not keep closed or were slow leaking from elsewhere. So essentially, I spent the next hour re-inflating 4 out of the 5 of them. The kids DID have fun with them, and one of them came home with us. I still have 5 more that I have not used, but I will break those out only when I am nearby to re-inflate them every couple minutes. I figured since 1 out of 5 worked, you get 1 out of 5 stars, and since the kids still had fun with the constantly deflating ones, you get another star. I'll increase my rating if the remaining 5 perform better, but unless it is 4/5, I will pay the extra $1-2 to get them from another vendor next time.

Overpriced, but not bad.
Like many of the other reviews I've encountered leaks in them after only a few uses. Thy're definitely fun and kids will love them, but they won't last very long. For the price they are currently at I'd expect to get more than just 4 or 5 uses out of them.
