I waited a long time to get a large ice cube tray. Now that I finally made the plunge, I know I chose wisely. This tray produces excellent 2inch cubes that pop out of the tray with ease. I use purified water and they look and taste great. I may just have to buy another and never use small cubes again! Well, aside from shaking up delicious concoctions to pour over the large cubes.

Left a residue - Likely because we used Alkaline water in them, but not usable for us because we will not compromise our water source for the sake of an ice cube. Here is the residue we got from melting down the ice. We do not have hard water, and it leaves a horrible taste as well as film in your water...

Ice cubes are really big what chill the drink without make it watery.I've bought another model, from another vendor which didn't met my expectations, but this one is exactly what I was looking for.
