Each model in this set is essential for a comprehensive childbirth education program. The 19"-long Fetal Model represents an average-sized, full-term baby. Made of soft yet durable cloth, the body flexes to show all presentations and positions. The Perineal Cloth Model (5" x 6½") can be used to demonstrate the stretching of the perineum, possible episiotomy, and the emergence of the fetal head. The cloth attaches securely to our Cloth Pelvic Model or Vinyl Pelvic Model with elastic straps and accommodates the head of the Fetal Model. The anatomically correct Vinyl Pelvic Model also accommodates our Fetal Model's head and measures 7½" x 10" x 9½". The Placenta/Cord/Amnion/Chorion Model allows the Fetal Model to be shown inside a simulated amniotic sac. The snap-on cord clearly reveals the vein and arteries, and a convenient drawstring closes the sac. The amniotic and chorionic membranes are accurately detailed in two colors. The placenta measures 7" x 8". Each model is also sold separately.
